Food is definitely good and authentic.We had ghee kara masala dosa, thali , rava onion dosa and Mysore masala.All of the dishes were very good fresh.dosas were crispy. Thali is a must try.Its really crowded on weekends, so expect a wait of 10-20 mins. filter coffee is also good.Service was slow and we had to remind them of our orders.
Mar 2024 update: Skimpflation has stuck, all self serve now. ?Nov 2021 update: Skimpflation - service has fallen - perhaps understandable and temporary. But skimping on chutney and masala quantities has no acceptable excuse, especially after a 25% hike in prices. ? It hurts to write this about a one time favorite.Among the best all vegetarian restaurants serving authentic South Indian cuisine. This is one my go to South Indian restaurants in the bay area. Located in Santa Clara, and close by India Cash and Carry store. They have wide variety of South Indian dishes, and all of them tastes good. Their Thali's on Weekends particularly have good menu items. The pricing is economical too and service is quick.
