“My family and I just recently went to Sourdough and had a great experience. The staff were very welcoming and very patient with our group. The restaurant itself was very clean. Tables were brand new with cool designs. The atmosphere was also very respectful and peaceful.

Food was also very exceptional for the price. I had the grilled chicken sandwich. The meat was very tender and overall very good. Others in our group that are vegetarian were also very pleased with their meals. The Caprese sandwich and the ttomato bisque with the side of bread were very popular. The cookies though shouldn't be overlooked. They were very soft and delicious. If you come here you have to give the cookies a try.“

This place is 40 minutes away from me and I need to beg my husband to take me to this place again coz this pho is the best I’ve ever had! “This is the best pho I have eaten since I worked in the peace core in Vietnam. The broth is delectable. The meat is succulent the veggies add a fresh crunch and aroma that you just can’t get at other local pho restaurants in the area. The pricing is affordable. The portions are mega. If you get the large and I honestly wish that I could dispense the broth out of my nipples because then I would have the delicious taste of Pho long Thinh with me at all times. Just get the #2 large bowl of pho, and thank me later.“

“This has been our favorite udon spot for a while now. The only other spot we would consider competition is Udon Mugizo but we love this place a lot more. First, the noodles have better texture and their oxtail broth is perfectly seasoned. For appetizers, we really like their chicken karaage and their mackerel.

Their service is also really great. We have a 4 month old and he was clearly trying to sleep. Our server was kind enough to put lullaby music on for him and overall was just a really nice guy. I wish we got his name but it was one of our most memorable meals ever!“

“Came on a Sunday around 7pm and there was still a line but we were seated within 15 mins so not terrible. They use QR scanning on the table but the servers do come around to check if you have questions. We ended up seated outside, which wasn't bad since it was a bit warm that day.

We ordered the regular soup dumplings (XLB), the pan fried ones, (SZB), the egg and Chive pancake, and the green onion noodles (recommended by the server). Both baos were excellent and we ended up ordering seconds of both of those. The chive pancakes were pretty good and the noodles were tasty as well but we felt that for the price, it wasn't worth it.

We'll likely be back again but stick to the baos.“

“Went to ok noodle for lunch around 1:30, walked in and we were the only customer which was odd. The gentleman helped us setup but you mainly order from your phone. I’ve seen from the search that everyone gets the chili noodles which I couldn’t find on the app. I had to order it personally from the waiter which was weird. The food came out fast with my buddy getting the lamb which he said had a real strong lamb flavor that was overpowering. The chili noodles were okay, nothing special. The chili wonton which I was wonton in chili sauce but in reality it was wonton in a soup. Overall not the best place for “pulled noodles” but not the worse, I’ll say it’s OK.“

We ordered several vegetarian options, including the Farmer’s Market, Del Monte Special, Natural High, House Salad, Caesar Salad, and a bowl of Tomato Basil Bisque. Everything tasted fresh, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The Farmer’s Market was loaded with crisp vegetables and avocado, while the Natural High was hearty, cheesy, and packed with flavor. The Del Monte Special is a classic that’s simple but delicious. The place is tiny, but compared to other tiny Chinese takeout places, not stuffy and very clean. The hostess was very polite and I noticed that tables were bussed very quickly.

This area of SJ / Santa Clara can be really hard to find good "basic" Chinese takeout, but if you're looking for all sorts of bite-sized pieces of chicken, beef or pork in a familiar variety of sauces, this is the best option I've found within a 10 minute drive of PayPal.

Parking: You'll have to get lucky with curb parking on the Alameda or down one of the residential side-streets. All dedicated lots in the area are "X parking only", and this place has no lot of its own.

Wheelchair accessibility: No weird thresholds or floor warping, standard height tables with movable chairs. Sidewalk in acceptable condition.“
