“Only giving them a 4 stars because they didn’t have cucumbers when I came to order my notoriously famous foot long tuna fish sandwich which goes a little something like this… Italian Herb n Cheese bread with provolone cheese, not toasted, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, bell peppers, and sometimes a little bit of olives… and to top it off mayo and chipotle sauce. And so you can see why I was a tad bit disappointed, but my sandwich was still fresh and delicious :)!!! I was treated right by the staff whom were patient with me while I was picking out my order. “This is the Subway restaurant in Tasman Square, located at the busy intersection of Lawrence Expressway & Tasman Drive. It's near the Hwy 237 ramps, and down the road from Levi's Stadium. There was a 49er game about to start, and the lobby of this Subway was full. I decided to get in line and watch the staff in action during this "rush." The line actually moved quickly. That's because the two women (aka "Sandwich Artists") worked together as a coordinated team to get the orders out. Even when the customer ahead of me changed her order, they just adjusted and made the sandwich. The line just moved smoothly, and without problems. Any issues were just handled. I ordered the #1 Philly footlong sandwich. It's on the Subway Series menu. Even though it has a preset recipe, you can add toppings and condiments of your choice. How was the #1 Philly? It's not much of a cheese steak sandwich. Even after I loaded it with peppers, olives, pickles, mayo, and lettuce. It looked bigger when they made it. But when you get outside and unwrap it, it looks like a skinny sandwich. Maybe I'm just spoiled because I've been to the Cheesesteak Shop in Alameda. This restaurant appears to be setup for mostly takeout orders. There's some small tables for inside dining, but the lobby is roomy to allow for a big line. I paid using a reloaded Subway giftcard. The young lady smiled and thanked me for my business when she saw the amount of credit on my card.Overall, a nice experience.There's free off street parking in the Tasman Square lot. VTA stop is nearby.“
“This Subway is right in front of the bank which makes it difficult to miss. I love subway cookies so I tend to walk in and purchase them if I'm there. Over the past few weeks I've made several visits to this location for both sandwiches and cookies and I appreciate how clean, organized, fresh, and efficient this location is run. The ingredients are fresh and not wilted. Ingredients are organized and not cross contaminating. My sandwiches are prepared neatly not falling out of the sandwich bread with all the ingredients I request. My sandwiches are delicious and made to order. The cookies are soft and out of this world (my favorite double chocolate chip... so yummy). Every visit I'm offered courteous service by the Latina women that have served my order. My kiddo appreciates how patient they are when ordering food. Kid-friendly is a PLUS! I like that they added stickers on the floor for people to stand on and give others 6 feet of social distancing. Makes you feel at ease that you don't have to tell people to give you your space. Clean location, fresh ingredients, efficient service.“
“Great service! I came in on a busy week night, there were only 2 people behind the counter but we got through pretty fast. They added a lot of meat - I thought they heard me wrong and did double meat but they charged like a normal sandwich. The workers were polite and quick, great experience.“
“Nancy, a sandwich artist and/or manager (don't really know), she helped me with answering my question of whether I could use my coupon of 2 footlong subs for $12.99 on the #4 Supreme Meats, which a different subway location told me that #4 costs extra and coupon wouldn't work.She also continued to ask if I had a coupon for a free cookie since I was buying 1 cookie with my subs anyways. I didn't want to ask or bring it up as I had been told by that other different subway location that I couldn't stack 2 coupons or more. Nancy clarified it usually applies to 2 coupons of positive monetary value. So my free cookie coupon was acceptable at her location. Great service is all I've got to say.“
