Subway in San Jose

“Very clean.
Please be kind to the lady working there.
She is very nice and works hard

I didn’t have the best interaction with the lady working so I went back and spoke to her.
I explained that I am a nice person and treat people with respect.
She apologized for being rude.
I sought to understand.
I asked her if something had happened and she said that the customer before I came in was very angry with her.
I have worked in customer service and retail for many years in my lifetime so I can understand what it is like to deal with idiots.
She doesn’t have the luxury of stepping away and taking a breather though.
So again please be kind.
She is a very nice lady.
People shouldn’t get angry with her.“

“The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I was greeted as soon as i walked in by a girl named Sandra she helped me and was really nice and professional. She had a great work ethic. I truly appreciate her excellent customer service. Will defenetily be coming back!!!“

“This is one of the better Subway locations I’ve been to. The staff is friendly, respectful, and actually pays attention to what you ask for, which makes a big difference.

The place is clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere is calm and casual — perfect for a quick lunch or takeout. It doesn’t feel chaotic like some other spots.

Food is consistently fresh and made properly. They don’t rush it in a sloppy way, and everything tastes the way it should.

They also have a good selection of drinks, chips, and cookies, so you can easily grab a full meal without needing to go somewhere else.

Parking is convenient, with access from two different streets, which makes it easy to get in. Just be careful when exiting, especially during busy hours.

Overall, solid location — good service, clean space, and reliable food. I’d definitely come back. 👍“

“Left the Kaiser hospital for a blood test and my wife was extremely hungry, so we opted to grab some quick sandwiches and boy were we pleased.We order from the mobile order app and upon arrival, was greeted warmly and got our order in no time.The sandwiches were crisp, skillfully crafter so that the toppings didn't fall out all over the place, and to top it off, it was perfectly toasted!This will now be our go to in this little neighborhood!“

“Extremely fast when I ordered online. If anything, the app was more difficult to navigate. Sandwich was what I ordered and it was pretty good for the price. Employees were polite to others as well. Come for a quick bite and order online for ease of mind!“

“We've been here 5 or more times and everything has been great every single time. Theyre extremely friendly, make great sandwiches, and they still have the buy 2 footlongs get 1 free after 4 pm. Also, they dont upcharge you an additional cost for eggs in the egg and cheese sandwich. Also they are very clean. The eating area is clean and they change their gloves accordingly.“

“At first I gave this location 2 stars because I was highly disappointed in the AC not working but I was more concerned for the people who work here. Guess what they fixed it right away! They care! So now I have to give them a 5 star review for maintaining their quality during the hard times. The staff that works here are very supportive and agile with the situation. “I was waiting which is I understand there is orders a head of me and there is only one person to making the orders i hate when people Expecting the sandwich maker makes there order faster then others which is I think is not fair. Like today 04/19/26 I was in the line I saw 2 lady’s so rude and mean . “Exactly what you'd expect from a Subway. They do have new sandwich fillings available which is a nice addition to their menu, although to be completely honest I will not pay 9.25+tax for a sub. The lady who made my sandwich was very sweet so that definitely made my experience more pleasant.“

Each and every customer is greeted with a warm and sincere acknowledgment. And in a lightning fast pace their sandwiches are assembled, wrapped, and rung up.

The store is always clean and during the very brief moments when there isn’t a customer placing an order the ladies are restocking and/or cleaning.

Whoever owns this franchise has hit the lottery with this team of ladies. If I owned a franchise or restaurant of any kind I would do everything in my power to steal this team away.“

“I love the service of some employees there. Especially that one girl with red hair working there. Though sometimes the atmosphere can appear somewhat stressful (they’re always busy) they have the kindest staff member working there. I always feel welcomed.“

“This is the closet subway within the 3 miles radius of where I work, it is in a gas station food mart. Currently under renovation, so only limited parking. But you can park behind the station next to Taco Bell, Starbucks and walk from there. Service is good. No dine-in options.“

“I just went yesterday which was Monday, June 30th. I got the special which was meatball. Anna attended me and made my sandwich. I believe the other two ladies didn't come, and I get to know that you can add few vegetables on your meatball sandwich. The other ladies strictly would say NO you have to eat like this. No even common courtesy. Plus, they are very rude Anna treated me very nice and made my sandwich very clean. I wish Anna would work during the lunch hours. she was exceptional!! If the owner is seeing this, please watch the cameras for the customer service and improve it. there are lot of County employees comes there for lunch.“

“This location is actually very clean. I came in one night, perhaps 30 mins before they closed and was greeted kindly by Iris. She switched gloves between sandwiches and had a pleasant tone to her voice. Unlike some other workers I have encountered before that just did not want to be bothered with.. at their own job.Thanks to Iris, I have decided to come back to this location in hopes I will see her every time!“

“Footlong BMT, u toasted, white bread, extra lettuce and onions. That's my sandwich and I'm sticking to it. For fast food, at least it's consistent.... pretty much the same sandwich, regardless of location. I'd venture to say it's good fast food. I'd wouldn't make a habit of it though.“

“This is another one of these locations that meets expectations and therefore deserves four stars. Most people might not confuse Subway to be a high-end sandwich restaurant, but they are delivering what they promise and this location is no different than the other franchise locations.“

“Consistently decent quality of food. Clean & hygienic.

Staff is not grumpy.

But of a homelessness problem around this shop. There was a homeless guy sitting inside too wanting to use the restroom. When I asked him if he wanted half of my sandwich he refused and started asking for money. :(“
