Il Fornio has always been a consistently excellent restaurant! Recently, I had a special birthday dinner with a friend and the food was good, but not as exceptional as in the past. We still enjoyed the ambiance, the service, the beet salad and a chicken & mushroom pasta. Sadly, on a Tuesday night, the restaurant was nearly empty, very unusual from my previous years of enjoying this restaurant.
