LOVE! So happy Marufuku opened in Walnut Creek. They were super sweet about accommodating my modification requests. Ivanna our server was so sweet and just overall positive vibes. She did a great job explaining the sake 😍
the ramen was delicious and i’d definitely be back. I got the creamy chicken broth and i’m so glad i did. i tried the shoyu one and that was good too but the chicken broth was rich and delicious. service was great and i loved the decor and dishes the used. the cocktails were solid as well. the portions are moderate. they were busy but the wait was short.
Great food, good vibe, friendly staff!

Marufuku Ramen in Walnut Creek is a delicious spot with great food and great customer service. The ramen is delicious, with the creamy chicken broth being rich and delicious, and the shoyu one good too. The Japanese curry and ramen are delicious, and spice is at the table so you can choose your own adventure. The cocktails are solid, and the portions are moderate. The staff is exceptional, with servers being sweet and providing excellent service and great information on the sake. The decor and dishes are loved. The gyoza is 4.5/5, regular edamame 4/5, lychee rainbow soda 4/5, and tori momo skewers 3/5. The A5 wagyu shoyu ramen is 4.8/5, torched right in front of you, though you can taste the propane. For birthdays, the dessert option is mochi with 4 pieces. The wait can be short even when busy, but food should arrive at the same time when dining with others, as waiting 10 minutes for another person's meal is not good. Arrive before 5:30 to avoid a line.
