“I was mistreated today in a way that I could not believe … just to have an idea: bar was closing at 2 am. I asked to go to bathroom before leaving. A very rude, unbelievable man, told me “go bathroom now and leave” I answered “ no problem, I can go to the bathroom in my house. Not a big deal” in front of everyone , he look at me and told me to leave …. So disrespectful that I cannot even believe. First time that I have such a bad experience at this club.“

“An absolutely mind blowing experience and meal. We went for brunch. We had the halva pancakes and pistachio French toast. The French toast was my favorite. The bread was crunch on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. Great drinks as well. DJs were awesome. Music really set the mood for a good brunch.“

“Go to this place if you want to hear some blues on a Saturday nite. The jam starts at 6. Bring your harmonica, bass, sax, etc and play some blues. The local talent is dope! Get a stiff drink or two and chill.“

“While I hate to cheat on Martinez, CJ's is a larger, more sophisticated but not too, version of our once Ferry Street and a far less dysfunctional version of Whiskey Lane, the latter of which I frequented to write until I found CJs where you can meet new great people, or sit in your corner and write. All folks are good folks at CJs. And that's my run on sentence on that matter.“

“This Night Club is Professional, the Security is on alert for any situation, that may occur or to be prevented before it happens. Renovated with a new elegant look, makes this location a 5 star with added Bartenders that are friendly & cool! It's well known, for the Latin & hip-hop music played by dj's but also live music to entertain, young groups of 21+, Prices for drinks are, good! It is a small location so best to arrive before or at 10pm, it gets full really fast! Dress code is enforce, so dress sharp.“

“Best vibes for sure! Met Westley who told us about the place during a visit to Napa, and we're so glad we stopped by! It happened to be 80s prom nigh, and it felt like the entire little town of Benicia was there to party. Young to old. Everyone was all smiles, dancing, and courteous. The live band was top notch. Bartenders were personable and attentive. It had a real small town, close knit feel. Everyone knew and loved Westley. Nicest guy. We didn't try any food, so no notes there. Hopefully we'll make our way there again someday.“

“Always a busy place. Love the outdoor seating options for great weather and intimate conversations. Absolutely love the Raviolis and the drinks are top notch. Amanda always provides A* customer service. She’s friendly, attentive, and you feel cared for. She goes above and beyond and definitely tries to always provide outstanding customer service. Highly recommend.“

“Always a fun time, if you havent tried it its worth a stop. Coffee shop by day, bar evenings thurs-sun. They have an awesome Happy hour on thursdays at the time of review (5$ beer, 7$ mixed drink if I recall right?). If I do get a mixed drink, this is the place to get it. Pictured is the egg white sour. They do breakfast, but not dinner foods durinb bar service. Also, as a plus, they usually don't have live music, so you can actually hear the other person you're talking to.“

“Love.this.place.100% AWESOME! From the moment we walked in, we felt like guests in a welcoming place, after a long day of appointments, we were in search of refuge in the form of chips and salsa, a stiff drink and maybe a plate of nachos before an hour long trek back home to SF. We had the street tacos, rice and beans with chips and salsa. Delicious is an understatement! If you want awesome food, a nice place to eat, indoors or out, OR you prefer street side at a table to people watch, indoors for air conditioning, or there's ALSO - the back courtyard with shade and privacy, plenty of seating, fans for hot days or heat lamps for cold nights... THIS PLACE ROCKS! I may regret telling people how awesome this place is but it needs to be recognized. We are picky. This is only my 2nd review...EVER. Thank you, 709 <3 Joel and Heather“

“I started with a Lavender Margarita. It was way sweeter than I would’ve liked it to be. It packed quite a wallop but was overshadowed by the sweetness. 3 out of 5 ⭐️ I toyed with the idea of Pato Chicharrone (duck cracklings) with pickled red onions and aioli. A different twist on an old-style recipe. The ratio of fat to meat was divine in its flavor, and the onions and aioli set off all the flavors. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ Next was the Bruselas (crispy Brussels Sprouts) tossed in honey Dijon with pistachios! Sí!! Bravo!! Each sprout was cut in half lengthwise, and the layers were opened so the flavor permeated the entire piece of sprout, yummy! Nice touch and not too sweet. It was served a little cooler than what I would have preferred. 4 out of 5 ⭐️ Both tapas were generous portions and served as my meal for the evening. I ordered the Beet Salad to go. It’s done with mixed greens, roasted beets, red onion, feta cheese, almonds, with lemon vinaigrette on the side. I had a sneak peek and it proves to be delicious and so darn healthy! 5 out of 5 ⭐️“
