“One of the best Southern restaurants in Contra Costa County! The greens were delicious, and the fried chicken had incredible flavor and the perfect crunch. We loved our date night here and will definitely be back. A message to the chef: While we were there, we overheard three women mention that the food was a little too spicy. Please don't change a thing! The bold flavors are what make this menu special, especially in an area where food is often toned down. Keep doing what you're doing!“

“We’ve been to at least 3-4 times. We like it here. The food was surprisingly good. They just recently chabged the mode pf ordering from cafeteria style to restaurant seating and ordering at the table. The truffle mushroom pizza was very good and the bread pudding was extra good. Will keep coming back“

“Nice atmosphere and decor. People are nice. Sandy, my server was nice and the hostesses were also very nice. Brunch short ribs hash was ok. Meh. For some reason I was expecting an Asian short rib flavored but got more of a beef stew style. Flavor was good. IPA was also good. Ask to try a couple because the other I tried wasn’t as good.“

“I am traveling for work and staying at the Renaissance hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and comes with many immensities. I came down to the bar the first night and met the bartender Pedro. He is the reason for the 5* review. He is kind, friendly and makes an amazing old fashion!

“Howdy yall!!! My husband and I found this place just by word of mouth while we were visiting. October 2026. Bartender, Justin, is killing it with the customer service. He 100% made these 2 Texans feel welcomed. A few other regulars were too kind and fun as well!! We really enjoyed this place. Wish we would have found it earlier in our trip but no, it was our last night. Thanks again Justin for making our last night one to remember!!“

“There was an issue with my order. I ordered a Custom Caramelized Garlic Steak that was supposed to include steak, but the steak was missing from my order when I received it. I paid for the steak as an added ingredient, so I’m disappointed that it was left out.
Could you please provide a refund or appropriate compensation for the missing steak? I’d appreciate your help in resolving this.

“First off the staff was smiling, attentive and not on their phones. The latte was perfection frothed, the espresso was delicious as was the little biscotti that was served with it. Facility was clean, moderately busy, I was able to get a table right away. I watched the staff and they were all so engaged in their work and the guests. Food was piping hot, perfectly seasoned. Eggs were poached perfect, sauce was not only not broken but seasoned slightly with Paprika for color. The pastry counter was spotless and their offered look fresh and inviting. Kudos to this place all around!! Its close to the freeway and parking is easy peasy.“
