“It's been said this is the best Nashville chicken to be had in the bay, and I don't disagree in the least. I enjoy my spicy food, so I sampled the Hot at the suggestion of our fantastic waiter, and eventually ordered the Medium+. Don't want to know what the Hot Hot tastes like. Heat was fantastic, but so was the spice and flavor. The fries could have been an afterthought, but were equally on point, well coated with a tasty seasoning blend.“

“Visited December 3, 2023I was curious about this house because it was always crowded when I walked around Walnut Creek, but I stopped by because it was an anniversary.First of all, they mainly sell hamburgers, and the price is quite affordable. The patty was thick and cooked on a kitchen griddle, so it was warm and delicious. I also ordered buffalo wings, and the sauce was a bit spicy and had a strong spice flavor. It's a taste that will leave you with different tastes. The wings looked quite sharp but were delicious.“

“I recently dined at the Walnut Creek Yacht Club and came away with mixed feelings. On the plus side, the food is always well-prepared, a testament to the kitchen's consistency and skill. The Chelsea Gem oysters were a standout, arriving at the table perfect in every way and setting a high bar for the rest of the meal. However, not all dishes reached this level of excellence. The halibut with citrus butter, while very good, didn't quite live up to expectations, lacking a certain special touch that would make it memorable. Similarly, the clam pasta fell short of the mark. It was quite bland and suffered from an overabundance of butter, overshadowing the clams themselves. In summary, while there are definite highlights like the impeccable Chelsea Gem oysters, some offerings could benefit from a bit more inspiration and balance. The Walnut Creek Yacht Club has the potential for greatness, but a little more attention to the flavor profiles of some dishes would go a long way.3.5 stars.“

“The Little Pear is a good place to get healthy food. It still has the feel of The Counter (its predecessor at that location) but with some upgraded signage. There are quite a few vegetarian options and there are pears added to unlikely dishes (pears on a flatbread pizza?), but we tried them and they are good. “Just went here with some relatives. One of us wasn't fully satisfied with their dish and the staff took it off of the bill. I was fully satisfied with the belgian waffle Kombo dish. My only critique is that they directly handed the plates off to us (we were a busy and full table) instead of directly placing them on the table. Even I wouldn't trust me not to drop a plate. Just my small petty note - everything else was great.“
