First time here didn't know what to order, I usually feel like the annoying customer everyone hates when I ask what to try for a first timer. Thankfully Leilani and Alexis were super sweet and patient with me as we went over the more popular items.

I ended up going with the new trio bundle and it was amazing. The cheese pulls on the mozz were top notch. The extra hot option is killer so beware. The chicken was brined and juicy throughout. I'll definitely be back.

“It was our first time at The Melt, and Luis made the whole visit feel easy and welcoming. He helped us choose what to try, and his recommendations were on point. The Meltburger was juicy and full of flavor, the Mac Daddy was crazy good, and the Three Cheese Classic tasted like real comfort food. Luis checked in on us, made sure everything came out hot, and you could tell he really cares about the guest experience. Because of him, our first visit turned into a new favorite spot.“

Get the Mr. Lee’s and Yang yum flavors! Go get some chicken and tell me I’m not lying here! The kimbap was also very yummy and perfect.“

“Food was good as usual, however this location seemed to not have their trash bins and tables cleaned? At first we thought maybe it was because of a staff shortage, but when we looked behind the counter/into the kitchen, there were so many of them on duty. And the shop wasn't necessarily super packed. But the trash bins were overflowing and tables were not wiped. Maybe none of the staff wanted to do trash duty so they kept pushing it off hoping someone else would step up and do it? Either way, it wasn't a great experience cleanliness wise.“

“I ordered a chicken katsu, but they then told me they were sold out and let me change it to a pork tonkatsu and also have me the option of a potato hotdog or something else because of the miss communication. super nice lady at the front. pork tonkatsu is really great. my only downside is they didn’t have unagi sauce as an option. it pairs really well with katsu“

“Stopped by KFC in Oakland and had a really solid experience. The chicken was fresh, crispy, and exactly what you expect when you’re craving that classic flavor. Service was quick, and the staff kept things moving even though it was pretty busy.

Sides were on point too, especially the mashed potatoes and gravy. Place was clean, no issues there. It’s not fancy, but it hits the spot when you want something reliable and satisfying.

Definitely a good stop if you’re in Oakland and want some comfort food done right.“
