“All and all it's pretty darn good chicken and potato wedges. I also enjoyed the honey biscuits as well. Another great thing about this location is the soda fountain with a large selection it even has horchota . Great place to grab a bite to eat while you stop to refuel your vehicle.“

They usually sell out of the chicken by 6pm and the rest isn't fresh anymore after 8 forsure. Yes, it's that good. Please order with your phone, not in person. It makes things operate more smoothly for everyone and decreases the wait time for the crack. I mean food. Well I don't know what they put in their chicken, but full disclosure you might start experiencing side effects if you don't get your fix. Consider yourself warned. “On a whim, my daughter and I stopped here for lunch. We split the regular fried chicken sandwich and, I kid you not, it was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. It was perfectly cooked. Very flavorful in all the components. Very impressed and will definitely be back the next time I'm in SF.“
“Another PHENOMENAL experience! It's Alameda Restaurant week so busier than usual but we got in at 6:30 Sat and were out by 7:10. Ordered the burger and chick sando- both have been on our minds for a while but we always get Trips Triple and it felt like we were cheating but man was it worth it! DELICIOUS! Kind of wish we got the Crab Stew/Cioppino because it's looked amazing but we have no regrets with our sandwiches and the awesome Brussels sprouts.“

“The Bay Area seems to have nice places to have a good chicken sandwich. This is one of the nice places I've tried. The inside seemed a bit empty but lovely with the 'All you need is hot chicken'. Service was clunky but thorough. Waiting time was fine. I did notice that their fry selection is not too extensive. I went with waffle fries and the regular hot chicken sandwich, I believe medium was the spice level. I can recall there were layers of sweetness. The coleslaw was sweet to me, not sure if it was the pickles as well. The flavour was nice. The spice was potent but not extreme; very comfortable while I watched people pass by. Waffle fries were crispy and fresh. The sauce was more on the sweet side but a good layer of flavour. Water and utensils are self served by the doorway. Right in the middle of downtown Oakland. Easily accessible with public transport.“
“Oh my the place resembles a true image of a "hole in the wall", but Oh!, don't let the location nor look fool you. The food is absolutely amazing! The chicken will have you thinking, "This reminds me of home!" The sides were delicious too and lastly, the counter staff were very polite and respectful.
