“i came in at 10:25pm (they close at 11) to order takeout. not only was i greeted with the most genuine smile by the person behind the bar, but they were so kind and welcoming. i got the bbq bacon burger sub chicken patty add tomato and lettuce (per their recommendation) and it was SUPERB. chicken? cooked perfectly. bun? doughy and held up throughout the eating of the sandwich. the lettuce was crispy and the bacon was fresh. i also got the garlic parm fries and they were the best ones i’ve had in a long time. after a really long day this was exactly what i needed. thank you very much.“

“Last Saturday we ordered a lot of food from the melt. The whole crew was working overtime and we all ordered multiple items and the crew absolutely killed it. Lady working the cashier was absolutely amazing. Sweetest lady ever. The cooks were amazing and they have a very good crew working. The only names I received were Mar, Janeka, Dom and Tone but everyone was incredible and we definitely will be back.“

“Tried it for the first time yesterday. We’ve walked by many times during lunch, thinking it was just another fast food chicken place…..finally gave it a try. It was excellent and staff was friendly. Chicken was fresh and crispy. They have many spice levels to choose from. Medium was plenty hot for me. The chicken tender was great, but the sliders were even better. Totally recommend this place!“

“The fried chicken is crispy outside and juicy tender inside. The various chicken combos are good deals. There is a wait for orders because the food is not precooked and sitting under heat lamps. Parking can be difficult and the small parking lot fills up quickly. I will definitely be returning!“

The Cali Cluckwich came with no tempeh bacon or avocado added on, and we didn't have time to get it fixed because we were crunched for time on a work lunch break. Without the cali ingredients added, it was a plain old classic cluckwich. Other than that, taste-wise the food was good. Also, I've always loved the customer service at the San Francisco location, the employees are always so happy and friendly. Hunny Hickory TenderClucks were delicious. “I was in Richmond for the annual San Pablo Avenue March of Hoes from Telegraph Ave all the way up to McDonald, where all the nighttime Hoes come out during the daylight for all to see! It's quite a sight, and the best place to see all the dysfunctional people is from a window seat at the El Pollo Loco Chicken Restaurant, right there on San Pablo Avenue! Let me tell you... Nothing beats watching Hoes strut and shuffle while your eating perfectly cooked chicken and fries! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆“
