“i came in at 10:25pm (they close at 11) to order takeout. not only was i greeted with the most genuine smile by the person behind the bar, but they were so kind and welcoming. i got the bbq bacon burger sub chicken patty add tomato and lettuce (per their recommendation) and it was SUPERB. chicken? cooked perfectly. bun? doughy and held up throughout the eating of the sandwich. the lettuce was crispy and the bacon was fresh. i also got the garlic parm fries and they were the best ones i’ve had in a long time. after a really long day this was exactly what i needed. thank you very much.“

“Great variety of tasty dishes on the menu and the food was delicious! I loved the “secret” specials - you need to ask to find out what they are. Fun cocktail options. And, all of the dessert options were awesome! My fav was the cheeseburger - YUM! I would definitely go back!“

“Was told by a gentleman operating the gondola at the Transit Center to try The Bird. Said it was the bear chicken around. The prices seemed okay but when we got the sandwiches, the price was even better. Biggest piece of chicken I'd ever seen on a sandwich. Taylor tots were great and the drinks allowed for multiple refills.“

“Last Saturday we ordered a lot of food from the melt. The whole crew was working overtime and we all ordered multiple items and the crew absolutely killed it. Lady working the cashier was absolutely amazing. Sweetest lady ever. The cooks were amazing and they have a very good crew working. The only names I received were Mar, Janeka, Dom and Tone but everyone was incredible and we definitely will be back.“

“Okay wow. My kids love this spot and I never tried it bc I thought it was just whatever but I finally ordered a single tender for myself to see what the hype was all about and it was so good!!! I got mild which is just a tiny kick but not where you need to find water and it was so good! Amazingly crispy even after waiting after I had driven home to eat it and the pickles and super soft slice of bread was the perfect complement. The batter is very tasty with a hint of sweet and the chicken itself felt like great quality and wasn’t dry. Okay I get it now! Will order myself some food the next time the kids ask for this!“

“My family decided to give the Honey Garlic chicken a try and it was a really good. It was still crispy with the sauce. I was actually a little skeptical since I had the Korean fried chicken at Von’s before and it was just soggy and nasty so I kind of expected the same but to my surprised, it was crispy and tasty! We also ordered the rose dtebokki with cheese that was really good as well. Loved the sauce and the spice wasn’t overwhelming. The only downside was the price. It’s pretty expensive but some chicken so it will definitely will be a once in a while type of treat!“

“Everything I've brought home from Picnic was made with obvious exquisite quality and care! Their condiments are a boon to our meals, great rotisserie chickens, sandwiches, sides, everything! I get excited when my travels take me nearby and I've got time to go in!“

“The fried chicken is crispy outside and juicy tender inside. The various chicken combos are good deals. There is a wait for orders because the food is not precooked and sitting under heat lamps. Parking can be difficult and the small parking lot fills up quickly. I will definitely be returning!“

“Lunette is ranked #2 food spot in the Ferry building by the SF Chronicle. Well deserved. It offers very tasty dishes with both rice and noodle options. It has a separate vegetarian menu. Spicy dishes are highlighted. Table space is limited so expect to share a table and/or wait in line at lunch times. Fast and friendly service. If you want to try your hand at Khmer cooking , Lunette is also selling a cookbook.“

“I think this is one of the best Chinese BBQ spots in Chinatown. The char siu tastes just like the kind I had in Guangdong, it has that classic Cantonese BBQ flavor. The portions are also very generous, especially the amount of meat they give you.“

The Cali Cluckwich came with no tempeh bacon or avocado added on, and we didn't have time to get it fixed because we were crunched for time on a work lunch break. Without the cali ingredients added, it was a plain old classic cluckwich. Other than that, taste-wise the food was good. Also, I've always loved the customer service at the San Francisco location, the employees are always so happy and friendly. Hunny Hickory TenderClucks were delicious. “I’ve been a fan of the Roost for the last few years - I’d order from them most weeks when I drove into my office. Their food is amazing… you can tell so much care goes into each meal they deliver.

I just found out they opened a new cafe as well and can’t wait to see it!

“Lovely quaint place offering either whole pizzas or pizzas by the slice. Slices are enormous and tasty. We made the mistake of ordering two each, they were enormous. Great value for money. Rotisserie chicken and Mac and Cheese was also super tasty. Best of all were the very lovely staff. Would highly recommend. Exceeded my expectations.“

“Very delicious, fresh and hot, definitely worth it if your looking for actual spicy chicken. I also love the pickles they have here, i would buy a tub of it. the worker their are so kind and make sure everything is ready and fresh before you get it. Will recommend to anyone if they ask if theirs a good chicken restaurant. It became my favorite place if its my turn to choose to eat out.“

“The food is much more authentic or better to say meets my expectation than other Korean restaurants I’d been. It is still sweet I’d say, but much less than others. Main dish was great, and even the side dish was fresh and tasty. I’d come more often if they can cook it without or a tiny bit of sugar. Overall, it is a very good Korean restaurant.“

“I made a mobile order on my way to this location. As soon as I came in, I was greeted by Jennifer at the counter. As soon as she took my name, she got to work. She made sure my order came out quickly and made sure that everything that I ordered was in my bag. I initially wanted to make this review through the El Poyo Loco app, but since I ordered online, I did not have a survey number. I did not let me go past the initial screen. But I was very adamant about leaving a review. I decided to leave it here on Google instead, just to give Jennifer her flowers as she is an incredible staff member there. The juicy, crispy Chickenjoy, the familiar flavors, and that warm Filipino hospitality have always taken me straight down memory lane to the Philippines. 🇵🇭❤️ That’s why it’s disappointing to see the San Antonio location slowly lose what makes Jollibee special. Lately, the service feels disorganized and slow, the quality seems inconsistent, and that warm Filipino welcome and atmosphere seem to be disappearing. On my most recent visit, I even received only 5 pieces of chicken when I ordered 6. Jollibee shouldn’t feel like just another busy fast-food chain. The Filipino warmth, hospitality, pride, and quality are part of the brand—and just as important as the Chickenjoy. I’m sharing this not simply to complain, but because we love Jollibee and want this location to do better.
