I’ve been a fan of the Roost for the last few years - I’d order from them most weeks when I drove into my office. Their food is amazing… you can tell so much care goes into each meal they deliver.
I just found out they opened a new cafe as well and can’t wait to see it!

The Roost absolutely nailed it! The 1/2 chicken was incredibly juicy, and the cole slaw was bright with an AMAZING and unique flavor. Another side I had was the cauliflower - great flavor and texture. The chocolate chip cookie was an ideal finish: rich, chewy, and honestly one of the best cookies I’ve had in a long time (maybe ever?). Excellent food - just one of those meals where every single thing hits and you immediately start thinking about when you can go back.
Always great food and service. Suggest chicken sandwiches for large groups.

The Roost is a favorite lunch spot in SF, serving delicious food with great portions. Their pescatarian options, including adobo-seasoned chicken, are standouts. Don't miss the sweet potato croquettes and brown butter cookies. The lunchbox meal comes with a large portion of baked chicken, braised sweet greens, and white rice, along with cole slaw and a unique green tea sesame cookie.
