“Loved their strawberry matcha! It’s tucked in a small space but it’s a great hidden find. I would definitely go back to give their Filipino menu and ramen station a try. Also parking is slightly difficult but there are a lot of street parking and parking garages nearby.“

“I love this place. Food is always good. The only thing I didn't like this time was we were placed in the inside in the back, one other family, with tv's on WITH NO SOUND! No music playing at all so it was super quiet. We entertained ourselves with conversation amongst our group but, it would have been very nice to have music playing or sound on one of the three tvs in that seating area. Plus it was mothers day, not sure if that was the reason but it shouldn't have been. Although i had this experience i will still recommend this place and i will be back...“

“We brought our friend here to celebrate his birthday because we wanted to gift an experience. We saw you featured on Check Please . . . And you guys WOW’d us beyond our expectations!! Amazing staff! “Wonderful hospitality and warmth coming from the Host Ty Do letting me know more about the Cambodian culture. And BIG Wow on the Sea Food dish: 637. SALMON IN GARLIC BASIL WINE SAUCE : Poached salmon topped w/ roasted garlic, basil, & black mushroom in reduced wine sauce. It's divine! It's my new hot restaurant spot in The Little Town of Alameda.“

“Their katsu gimbap tasted so good. I wish we’ve gotten another to-go but maybe we’ll just come back again next time. Everything tasted really good as well. We can tell everything was freshly made.
The place was pretty much empty except for the occasional people getting to-go. Understandable given it’s a weekday and everyone’s most likely at work.
Will definitely come back to try other items next time we’re in the area again!“

“Love Lou's!! Its our go to every time we're in Moraga. Great buttermilk chicken sandwich and we love the pulled pork sandwich too. The curries/ramen are excellent!! They are identical to the former Noodle Theory Rockridge in Oakland. It's a must stop if you're in Moraga!“

“One of my favorite places for sushi. I love the twist on the Lion King Roll with cheese. I also ordered the Golden Scallop Roll which may now be my absolute favorite.
Service is friendly, ample & easy parking, and usually when I go there it is not crowded.“

“You know it's good when my 12yr old grandson eats all his spicy noodles. Plenty of food, no skimping, staff is wonderful. We're going to try the Concord location next. Same cook there that was in Southampton and he's great!“

“Loved this place, but removing a star because they took the teriyaki salmon option off the menu. Strange, because everyone loved it and it was often sold out! The raw fish is hit or miss. Bring back the teriyaki!
My roommates and I check doordash every week or so, just to see if they have Salmon Samba.“

“Very clean, excellent menu with very creative rolls. The nigiri 🍣 sushi is fresh and the best I’ve had to date. Personable, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Japanese beers are on point, cold and priced right. This a “locals favorite” which feels very welcoming and the freshness will be bringing me back. Cheers!“

“I’ve been coming to ChinaChef for over a year now, and it’s easily one of my favorite spots! The food is always delicious, everything has great quality, fresh ingredients, and amazing flavor. It’s also very affordable, which makes it even better.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and you can tell it’s a family-owned restaurant. The people here are always friendly and go out of their way to help. Whether it’s dine-in or takeout, the experience is always great.“

“I got the lunch nigri, salmon was buttery, tuna was fresh. Complementary miso soup. Definitely an amazing lunch. Even the katsu was delicious. A plentiful variety of authentic Japanese dishes. Would come here again and recommend to anyone in the area.“
