“Loved their strawberry matcha! It’s tucked in a small space but it’s a great hidden find. I would definitely go back to give their Filipino menu and ramen station a try. Also parking is slightly difficult but there are a lot of street parking and parking garages nearby.“

“It was a great pace to hang out with colleagues. We had a baby shower at this location and they staff was very friendly and prompt for any needs. The check too was not that expensive. Nice place with an affordable prices. Happy hour is a great choice.“

“New Peking is a delicious new addition to the city of Martinez. Conveniently located right off the Morello Avenue exit, it has quickly become our go-to Chinese restaurant in the area. On our first visit, we tried the crab rangoon, beef chow fun, and steamed dumplings, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of each dish.
Tonight, we ordered the beef with scallion, shrimp fried rice, chicken chow fun, and the beef scallion wrap. The portions were generous, everything was delicious, and nothing disappointed. The new owners are also very kind and welcoming.
We will definitely be back!“

“Always very nice coming here. I come here almost everytime I visit the mall. The thought of mall sushi might not be everyone's cup of tea, but don't knock it till you try it. The sushi is great. Not too much rice and avacado/tempura/cucumber have always been very fresh. The hot mamacita roll is a favorite of mine as well as theavacado roll and cucumber roll.
It is fairly affordable and lovely service from the owners. They always say hello to you when you come in, and also bye and thank you when you leave. Always happy to support a small business.“

“Wonderful hospitality and warmth coming from the Host Ty Do letting me know more about the Cambodian culture. And BIG Wow on the Sea Food dish: 637. SALMON IN GARLIC BASIL WINE SAUCE : Poached salmon topped w/ roasted garlic, basil, & black mushroom in reduced wine sauce. It's divine! “Great place to stop and grab lunch, or dinner and a beer after work. I got the Yuzu Miso Udon, it was amazing, complex, savory and citrus forward . Looking forward to trying the rest of their food. Service was great, was promptly greeted and had any questions answered.“

“Authentic and excellently prepared traditional Korean dishes. This is my go to Korean restaurant in Concord/Walnut Creek area. Highly recommend this restaurant. However, if you want Coke Zero, they don’t have it so every time I go there, I always ask for Coke Zero just to place a seed into their minds to try stocking it.“

“Outstanding! Always…… Dave Y. You’re just a Karen. Everything about RJ’s is fantastic. If anyone doesn’t like RJ’s, they have much greater hurdles to deal with and simply can’t find the good in anything. Hats off to the staff, the owner and the regulars.“

“You know it's good when my 12yr old grandson eats all his spicy noodles. Plenty of food, no skimping, staff is wonderful. We're going to try the Concord location next. Same cook there that was in Southampton and he's great!“

“Very clean, excellent menu with very creative rolls. The nigiri 🍣 sushi is fresh and the best I’ve had to date. Personable, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Japanese beers are on point, cold and priced right. This a “locals favorite” which feels very welcoming and the freshness will be bringing me back. Cheers!“

“Loved this place, but removing a star because they took the teriyaki salmon option off the menu. Strange, because everyone loved it and it was often sold out! The raw fish is hit or miss. Bring back the teriyaki!
My roommates and I check doordash every week or so, just to see if they have Salmon Samba.“

“I’ve been coming to ChinaChef for over a year now, and it’s easily one of my favorite spots! The food is always delicious, everything has great quality, fresh ingredients, and amazing flavor. It’s also very affordable, which makes it even better.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and you can tell it’s a family-owned restaurant. The people here are always friendly and go out of their way to help. Whether it’s dine-in or takeout, the experience is always great.“

“Tatsu is a solid spot here that really delivers on atmosphere and flavor. The authentic Japanese design stands out right away - warm wood tones, pink Sakuras, clean lines, and a cozy layout that makes the space feel both traditional and welcoming.
On a packed Saturday night, the team was clearly working at full speed. The chef in particular was impressive - focused, efficient, and handling a nonstop flow of orders without missing a beat. You could feel the effort and care behind the counter.
The sashimi was fresh, clean, and genuinely delicious - exactly what you hope for when you sit down at a sushi bar. The specialty rolls like Flaming Dragon were beautifully plated with a bit of flair, and the uni shooters were the highlight of the night - rich, briny, and absolutely outstanding.
Overall, a lively, high-quality sushi experience. When a restaurant is that busy and still maintains this level of freshness and service, that says a lot. Definitely worth coming back.“
