The Hangout - Walnut Creek Reviews
We just had the most awesome breakfast at The Hangout in Martinez. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. It had just the right amount of crunchy spicy sweet goodness. Fast and friendly service.
Food was outstanding , speedy and service was pleasant and friendly.
Came here twice on our four day trip to California! Owners were kind and accommodating, the drinks were amazing, the food was immaculately made and beautifully plated! i would recommend this restaurant for anyone out and about looking for a great brunch place!

The Hangout is a great place to grab a nice brunch. The pet friendly patio is a nice spot to sit, especially with a quiet atmosphere on weekdays. The service is very nice and attentive. The food is great, with simple dishes that hit the spot and are yummy. The potato’s are cooked perfectly. The Hangout offers bottomless mimosas for $23 a person, which is a good deal. Some popular dishes include the garlic noodles, ube pancakes, and loco moco, all of which are delicious. The hangout omelette is also great, especially for bacon lovers. The chicken katsu curry is ok, but the sauce itself is great. The potatoes are delish. The matcha black sugar latte and Ube espresso are tasty, but can be very sweet. The restaurant can be a little pricey and the bathrooms need to be cleaned. A large group tax of 20% automatic gratuity may be added to the bill. Overall, The Hangout is a very pleasant experience and a great place to eat, especially for brunch on the weekends.
