Found this mom & pop Italian Deli close to where I was in Walnut Creek. Wanted to eat a deli sandwich for lunch. Ordered the CA Club #5 on the menu. There was barely a line and the sandwich was made relatively quickly. Service was very good. This place reminded me of one of my childhood favorite Italian Deli’s in SSF, Little Lucca.The sandwich was good with fresh ingredients. Just wish I asked for some secret pesto spread. Our favorite sandwich joint in the area. Fresh bread piled on with delicious deli meat and some veggies & condiments! AMAZING!The staff are actually not friendly at all…borderline rude…indifferent for sure….reading these comments from others visiting other Italian delis (like Genova) this unfriendly theme permeates through…so not sure if they do it as their shtick (like the guys at Geno’s in Philly) or if it is because they have such a huge clientele that they couldn’t...read full review
This is hands-down my favorite Diablo Valley deli. There are many I haven't tried yet, but that's only because this place keeps us coming back.Friendly service, old-school community energy, delicious sandwiches, huge variety of chips & drinks, patio seating.
