Yes sir, still good. The order taking was friendly and efficient. The young ladies in front were not too friendly though (like they are doing you a favor in ringing you up would go 5stars for the food and price, but now will need to think twice about the lack of friendly cashier service. Really hate to do that because if they just smiled or seemed thankful for your business I would rate them 5 stars like I did before. However, it's a good deal for sandwiches.

I needed 10 sandwiches for a work meeting and I needed to pick them up mid morning. I love supporting local businesses and found it easy to call ahead the morning of and 1 hour later, swung by and everything was ready to go. I added bags of chips, paid, and was in and out in a few minutes. It seems like a really busy shop, with the phone ringing constantly so it seems calling far ahead is key. I ordered a little of everything and hours later, they were scrumptious! I personally had the tri tip and I devoured it, the bread and steak still soft and marinated. Coming from San Jose, it isn't super close to freeway but not an inconvenience. I plan to return whenever I need something quick and delicious!

Amazing sandwiches for a great price. Try the #1, #6 3/4 and the #8. Always a line but worth the wait.

The sandwiches are great, but the customer service is lacking. The girls at the register rarely acknowledge you or thank you for your business. I used to go their daily but stopped because of this rude service.

I went to Maruchi's and order a A pastrami on ciabatta extra Mayo. I enjoyed my sandwich and my friend did also . I'll be back again.

Best sandwiches in the East Bay!! There may very well be a line, but service is fast!!

Went back for the first time post-pandemic. Seemed to me quality was somewhat down, but one visit probably is not fair, so I'll try again. Wonder if others have had the same reaction.

They had a great assortment of specialty sandwiches but you can also make whatever sandwich you want. There was a line out the door which is always a good sign, but it didn't take long to get through. It was a typical deli so the store itself wasn't anything special, but they have a great (while on the main road) outdoor seating area. I'd love to go again!

Wonderful sandwiches. Don't bother trying to phone in an order. Line can be long but moves quickly. Try the toasted ciabatta.

Stopped in here to grab a quick sandwich on the go, as I search around for good sandwich options. I ordered the #5 turkey club, +avocado and cucumber on a white roll. I was a little nervous because the deli counter looked a bit haggard and unappealing, but happily, I was wrong. The sandwich was giant and delicious. It basically worked for two meals! Would absolutely come back and try more options. Plus, for just a little over $10, this is a great deal!

Fantastic, just like NY hero's and wedges as we called them back east! Call ahead to order, there is always a line out the door.

I was expecting a really good sandwich. First off, a lot of the gentlemen making the sandwiches are not wearing gloves, but yet handling all the meat, bread and preparing food without gloves. They are also handling other items at the same time which are not food related. They were also rude when taking your order. I get it, you are busy but being a little more friendly with the customers would definitely help your business. I finally understood why the place was so busy, it wasn't because sandwiches are great, it was because they are so cheap. $10 bux for anything is great these days. So it made sense why so many people were there. In my opinion, there is a great Italian deli down the road. Yes, a sandwich will cost you $15-20 bux but much more worth it in my opinion.

Found this mom & pop Italian Deli close to where I was in Walnut Creek. Wanted to eat a deli sandwich for lunch. Ordered the CA Club #5 on the menu. There was barely a line and the sandwich was made relatively quickly. Service was very good. This place reminded me of one of my childhood favorite Italian Deli’s in SSF, Little Lucca. The sandwich was good with fresh ingredients. Just wish I asked for some secret pesto spread. Cannot complain though and the cost was reasonable at $9.49, considering some places in Walnut Creek cost double this price. All in all, a good experience. They have small tables indoor and outdoor seating as well.
