“I was heading to the Pink Stallion out the end of Clayton road to drop off a big box of strap-on thingamabobs to the Lady's Auxiliary for their annual Gathering of She Bears, when I passed by the West Coast Sourdough Delicatessen. What luck! I whipped it on in faster than big Mabel Hatley in a sorority full of Georgia Peaches!

“Today was a great lunch experience, I've had some inconsistencies in the past, but today was great all around.

I ordered via mobile phone for a Rapid Pick-Up lunch. I selected the Mix and Match option – two “Faves” for $4.99 each, and chose the In-Cafe Pick-up option (vs. drive-thru).

My order included a sandwich and salad. The sandwich… Toasted Italiano – was good, the bread a little too crusty for me, but the ingredients were great (Black Forest ham and Soppressata with provolone, romaine, red onions, sliced pepperoncini peppers, and Greek dressing and garlic aioli drizzle on our French Baguette.)

The salad… Farmhouse Crunch Salad – excellent. I really liked the combination of flavors and textures. (Crisp romaine topped with glazed sweet potatoes, shaved parmesan, sliced cucumbers, grape tomatoes, fresh avocado, roasted pumpkin seeds, and candied black pepper almonds with farmhouse ranch dressing on the side.)

The Mix and Match option is a Great value at less than $12 including tax. Mobile ordering was easy and my order was ready VERY quickly – I was alerted in fewer than 8 minutes and before the quote they originally gave. It was easy to find my bag when I entered the store.

If you’re one of those who likes to avoid engaging with people, then this option is perfect.“

“This place is my favorite Sourdough & Co this side of the Bay! Sara and Radia was so polite and kind. I had the meal combo meal and had asked if the clam chowder came with a side of bread. It did not but Sara gave us the side bread along with chocolate chip cookie.“

“I brought my parents to eat here. My dad loves pho! Their service was great. The food arrived quickly. The food was delicious. We had grilled pork Vietnamese sandwiches, grilled pork vermicelli bowl, spring rolls, and BBQ pork and wonton pho. (can you tell we love grilled pork?) the pork was delicious! The sandwiches were not dry. We completely enjoyed our meal and had a very nice time together. I would highly recommend this place for both dining in and takeout.“

“The food was good as usual. It was not very busy for a Sunday but the staff looked tired and not very enthusiastic. They should enforce dress codes for servers. The floors were sticky when you walk into the restaurant. The water glassed were plastic instead of glass. The restaurant needs deep cleaning and freshen up the atmospher. You can see all the storage freezers when sitting in the dining room when they can be hidden with a decor curtain or a trifold divider. They don't bring the bill to the table or accept payment at the table only at the cashier which is weird for a sit down facility“

“The food here is absolutely incredible, but you definitely have to pack your patience! We ordered the braised beef short rib (Kalbijjim) with the cheese addition, and watching them torch the cheese right at the table is an awesome touch. The meat is fall-off-the-bone tender, and the flavor is deeply rich and savory. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 purely because the wait times can get pretty ridiculous, even if you try to join the waitlist ahead of time. It’s definitely worth the hype, just be prepared to wait around outside.“

I got the beef short ribs, fried dumplings and beef bibimbap. Everything was good. Only thing was the beef ribs were a little tougher than expected but still good. All sides were yummy too.“

“1st time there. Went there with 4 others for lunch. Had the sweet&sour pork, fried rice, and hot&sour soup. The soup was good, but the fried rice was very plain, and the small chunks of pork were mostly surrounded by deep fried batter. The veggies in the dish were sparce, but good. Overall, not that bad, but not that impressed. impressed“

“Really liked this place the couple times I got to have it! It now says closed every day except mondays and they don't answer their phone, I hope they arent closed as I was just becoming a loyal customer!

Edit- I see below they said they will be closed until the 10th for the remodel. I feel like you should be more clear about that! I will be back once you reopen!“

“The food is always good here! Fresh and cooked to order. Service has gotten better over the years I remember when they were so rude. For the Ambiance I give it a 3 this is really a order and go. My favorite is always a dry fry ribs they're always top-notch. Today I ordered dry fried ribs beef chow mein and chicken fried rice with no soy sauce. The wait time has even improved I only waited 15 minutes.“
