I was a little disappointed that the restaurant used slices of mozzarella cheese on the pizza, rather than shredded cheese. It makes a difference.

I’ve gotta say I’ve been wanting to try Gusto Mio for awhile now. I’m so happy we did last night. The food is absolutely outstanding. We will definitely go back to try a sandwich and something else. The service was off the chart too so friendly and welcoming.

Gusto Mio has outstanding Italian food in Walnut Creek. The food is absolutely amazing and the sandwiches are incredibly tasty. Fresh focaccia is used for the Gusto sandwich and the briskit sandwich, and the sandwich fillings are fresh and high quality. The menu has specialty pepperoni pizza, which many said is incredible and the best pizza ever. The pizza is delicious, fresh and has flavors you don’t get anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the service is considerate and off the chart. The place is simple but clean and well organized. A table is outside on a beautiful day or you can order at a counter and get the food brought to you. The wine comes in a nice wine glass and the drinks has Italian radio music. The restaurant is not fancy but the quality ingredients cost money and are worth the cost. People said they will definitely return and recommend the authentic Italian sandwiches and pizza to people.
