I’m punjabi and this is authentic punjabi food - we got rogan josh - yumm
the surprise was the hyderabadi vegetable mix w apricots - delicious
the naan was my fav coz i’m so picky about naans. It’s light but not too light. Naan should have some weight to it and the flakiness comes from the top crust.

Good food in the heart of city. Very authentic food, great ambience. Despite of ton of rush the owner got a lil surprise gulabjamun with candle to celebrate my kid’s birthday. I am touched by hospitality. Thank you for making our day.

Apna Chulha is a spacious, well-lit, and well-decorated restaurant. The staff is very pleasant, attentive, and courteous, offering a genuine warmth and a welcoming feeling. The chef personally adjusts dishes to preferences. The Sunday buffet offers several good vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, including favorites like chicken curry, potato-vegetable curry, and naan. While there are not a ton of options, there is certainly enough to sample a variety. Desserts like gulab jamun and kheer are fantastic. Every item delivers balanced flavor and precision. The price point is very reasonable and offers excellent value for the quality. It is a refined experience without pretension.
