Friendly warm atmosphere. Great food and superb service. Owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome. I definitely recomend it.Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.Dietary restrictions: Staff eager to accomodate any costumer's needs .
Taste of the Himalayas serves a great range of Nepalese and Northern Indian dishes including momos, tarkari curries, lamb dishes as well as your usual favorites, both veg and nonveg. The staff is wonderfully polite and the ambience is enhanced with soft Indian music and beautiful murals on every wall.

Highly underrated! My favorite Nepalese/Indian restaurant in Berkeley. The food is consistently delicious, not too oily or salty and full of flavor. The naan is also some of the best I've had anywhere. Would recommend the chili momos, chicken tikka masala, and saag paneer, but it's hard to go wrong.
