“I have lived in SF for 3 years now and just discovered the Dancing Yak. It blew me away with how delicious the food was. From the drinks, to the appetizer, to the main dishes and desserts, everything I had was phenomenal. It also had delicious vegetarian options for my friends - and was a place I would strongly recommend.“

“This place is such a gem in SoMa! All the food is really good, but their momos are especially delicious and addictive, and I love the sauce they come with too. And mango lassi - so creamy and refreshing! The nicest people work here, visiting Bini's Kitchen always makes my day.“

“The food was delicious and the service very friendly. We ordered some noodles with chicken and a chicken curry with rice. They served us water throughout the meal without any charge and were always attentive. They made us feel at home.
Very economical price (Dinner for two people about $40 + tip)
Without a doubt, to repeat.“

“Decent place to try different Nepalese food. Being and Indian I don’t know if it’s my higher expectations from food that my country makes but if they were a Nepalese take on them they were a good shot. I’d say 4 stars is where it’s at for me after having been there 2 times already. My girlfriend loves the food there though so we might go again (and I shall try and keep this updated)
Their Naans are oh so fresh though - amazing!“

“I went to the ferry building farmers market and stumbled upon this stand making momos. I was intrigued by the sauce on the dumplings and just knew I had to order. The lamb was spiced and really complimented the cream sauce on the momos. I will definitely be back to try their other dishes!“

“I've had this place on my "to-eat in sf" list for a while now and was finally able to enjoy it. I brought a Nepali friend wit me as well and she loved it just as much as I did.
The server was very kind and attentive and did his best to always make sure we were doing well. My friend spoke to the two servers in Nepali and was happy to be able to use her native language with the locals in the city. This is also how we found out that the restaurant owner is probably from Nepal which is what made the food so delicious and a great mix of Indian and Nepali flavors.
The chicken momo was the first thing that came out and was visually beautiful and the flavors were truly outstanding to the point of it being some of the best momo I've tried in the bay. The chutney that accompanied it was so good my friend made sure to leave the container clean.
My lamb vindaloo was again some of the best I've had. Not too spicy and not too mild. That along withe the cheese garlic naan was delicious and worty of another trip back.
The chicken biryani my friend ordered was just as delicious as the rest of the foods and I would've loved to have more of it but I was stuffed with everything else!
Cannot recommend this place enough. It's a must try!“

“Two vegetarians went out to dine at Spice Of America. We were not disappointed. A great selection was on offer. Some familiar dishes and others not. We chose to nibble our way around the menu.
The Momo's freshly made with a beautiful slightly spicy sauce.
Dahi Pakodi Curry, was full of flavour.
Finally potato patties which sat upon a divine chickpea curry.
We could not fault anything in this restaurant. Service and food were absolutely top notch fare for a very decent price.“

“I would be speaking my deepest truth to tell you that coming here was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. The quality, the care, the explosion of delicious savory and exciting flavors. This is my new go to spot and a spot I will be sure to recommend to others and take visitors to before they leave. I'm not even saying this to be nice but i would be living a lie if I said this wasn't some of the best food I had in a long time. They master what they do and with such welcoming kindness.“

“Highly highly recommend. It’s hard for us to go to the city without stopping here to eat, we love bringing new friends here as well. If you love Indian food, this is a great place.
Vegetarian options: There’s a large vegetarian section and they are familiar with vegan and we’re even careful to warn me that one of the items I ordered is not vegan“

“Noe Indian Cuisine is top notch in every way! We stopped here for our lunch during our bachelorette weekend with six of us, and we were in a hurry to get to our next activity. They took our orders right away, brought the drinks and food quickly, and all of it tasted incredibly delicious, hot, and fresh. Not only that, but they brought all the boxes we needed too. Honestly, this is the best and speediest service I have ever seen at a sit down restaurant. If I'm ever back in San Francisco, I will be coming back!“

“Came here for lunch for the first time and was blown away! I shared the vegetarian plate with a friend and we also split some veggie momos. Everything was so wonderful, well spiced and flavorful. We got some chicken momos to go for our other friend and he really enjoyed them. I’m really excited to add this place to my new set of lunch restaurants since I work close to here. Would absolutely recommend!“

“One thing is certain, it is that this restaurant does not skimp on the portions, which will satisfy even the biggest appetites.
As for the cuisine, regulars of Indian and Sri Lankan restaurants will be on familiar ground. Dhal, Alo Gobi, tandoori, nans and thalis. But also fried noodles more common in the north, all in xxl portions.
The only downside is a bit too much pepper everywhere. And yet in general that doesn't stop us.“

“Me and my friends were coming down from a convention in Portland and heading back down to Texas and we were looking for some Chinese food to eat. And we saw this resturant and me and my friend had to push them into the resturant and it did not disappoint I'm happy we came here and I will definitely come back here again in the future.
Vegetarian options: It's great they had a wide range of options from Paneer Tika Malasya to others“
