Bopping in to town to see Harry Mack at Fox Theater, we parked around the corner and wanted something to eat. I saw the phrase Indian Street Food on the window, mentioned it to Brian and it was immediately decided. I am stoked, because the food was delicious!! The tikka masala was great, mango chutney to die for, salsa with my rice (sooooo good, you have no idea!!), and if I wasn't on a diet I'd have the El Jefe burrito, which is a burrito made with naan!!! Specific meals mentioned include the Death by Tikka Masala Thali with chili naan, which is an impressive plate of food for a reasonable price. The butter chicken family style entree, garlic chili nan, and riced cauliflower side exceeded expectations, with tender, flavorful chicken and divine nan. The O.G. Indian style burritos are still amazingly unique and delicious, with the Punjabi By Nature Paneer Burrito and Chicken Tikka Masala burrito being highly recommended. The Paneer Kathi Roll is delicious but does not travel well for takeout.
However, some reviews note that the atmosphere has a strong smell of cleaning products and sanitizers. One experience was disappointing when chai was unavailable 30 minutes after opening, though a mango lassi was offered instead. The combination of tasty dishes, a comfortable ambiance, and excellent service makes this spot a strong choice for casual meals and social gatherings. Its consistent quality, approachable menu, and attentive team make it highly recommended.
