“Naan & curry is good especially If you're craving it's near & safe inside serramonte food court. I dislike driving to the sf but this near by is good for fast food easy access! I'll be trying their other foods far the taste is good! Their naan breads are huge! The biryani chicken & lamb ? super good it feeds 2 to 3 people! Their menu for the tiki masala w/ a drink is also good to try! I'll be back for their desserts ? & I'll do an update on those! So far quick service & good eats.“

“I would be speaking my deepest truth to tell you that coming here was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. The quality, the care, the explosion of delicious savory and exciting flavors. This is my new go to spot and a spot I will be sure to recommend to others and take visitors to before they leave. I'm not even saying this to be nice but i would be living a lie if I said this wasn't some of the best food I had in a long time. They master what they do and with such welcoming kindness.“

“The most delicious food I have had in USA over the last 20+ years! Paneer korma is aromatic with fresh ingredients and softest paneer. The momos were soft and yummy. Daal makhni is an exceptional delicacy topped with the dessert— Kulfi and gulab jamun. Even the naan was crunchy and savory and the tea was refreshing. ?????
Deepak went above and beyond with his professionalism and enthusiasm. ??
Vegetarian options: Paneer, daal, kofta, naan ?
Wheelchair accessibility: Convenient parking and wheelchair accessible“

“Copra is a fine dining Indian restaurant with beautiful ambiance and decor. A reservation is required. The cocktails were impressive—we enjoyed the Jaggery Sour, a slightly sweet twist on a whiskey sour, and the Lassi Punch, a smooth spiced drink. For appetizers, the rasam puri was unique and refreshing—a must-try! The dahi chaat vada was good but quite heavy, and the vennai shrimp, though tasty, had too much ghee for our liking. For mains, the cod was delicious with authentic Kerala flavors, while the lamb shoulder was flavorful but could have been a bit more tender. Overall, it was an average experience—not exceptional but enjoyable.“

“Noe Indian Cuisine is top notch in every way! We stopped here for our lunch during our bachelorette weekend with six of us, and we were in a hurry to get to our next activity. They took our orders right away, brought the drinks and food quickly, and all of it tasted incredibly delicious, hot, and fresh. Not only that, but they brought all the boxes we needed too. Honestly, this is the best and speediest service I have ever seen at a sit down restaurant. If I'm ever back in San Francisco, I will be coming back!“

“This is my favorite Indian place in the city! Great for takeout or for dine-in (they always have some open tables) and speedy service. I haven’t ventured too deep in the menu because the classics are just too good - dal, butter chicken, paneer tikka masala, chana masala, samosas, garlic naan…you can’t go wrong. Servings are also fairly large and generally last me two meals.“

“extremely bad tasting food and bizzare combinations....miffed at kichadi like biryani with no flavour and being served with aam ka achar....god knows how this restaurant got Michelin star rating ....Shame on the chefs and the owners for ripping off the customers with overpricing of the food for poor service, absence of any ambience or decor“

“Tara is the best North Indian in San Francisco for its price point of ~$15 per entree. The level of effort and attention to detail represents exceptional value. Case in point, the tamarind sauce (provided with the mint chutney and chili sauce for the papadum) is mixed with subtle spices to cut the tartness, has a consistency that clings perfectly to the papadum, neither too thick nor too watery). Their curries all have distinct character, with specialty spice blends. Their meats are all good cuts and tenderly stewed. And their naans flavorful and freshly baked. You will not be disappointed if you dine in the restaurant, in fact, food prepared with this much care deserves to be enjoyed fresh.“

“Place was old, blue on the outside, sign was really small and only on one side of the building...doesnt look inviting. Place could have been cleaner.
Food was good. I wanted spicy, the really spicy dosa wasn't spicy...that is why it's 4 star for food
Phone service wasn't all that great but they were really nice in person.“

“This is my partner and I’s most visited restaurant in SF. It’s got great pricing, phenomenal flavors, gluten free accommodations (gf naan!!), and a warm group of people working there. We go there when we’re happy and we go there when we’re sad. Absolutely 10/10
Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free options :)“

“We had gone for dinner and we loved our food. It makes a lot of difference when the food is good. Their lamb seekh kabab, tandoori chicken, karahi gosht, everything was superb!

“We were very excited to be finally making it to ROOH. We'd had heard so so much about this place and for the money - I think it did well on the dishes I was told it would perform phenomenally.
TLDR Must Haves - Dahi Puri, Rabdi for Dessert.
We had Black garlic Naan (which was unfortunately very chewy), Chilli Garlic Crab (Which was actually pretty on point. Reminded me of my days of finding good food in Bangalore), Madur Vada (tasted fine, but pretty presentation) and a Vegetable saute with Peanut chutney (which looked fantastic but.. Didn't quite work for us when the veggies and chutney came together)
But all in all, we'll come back just for our must haves. What beauty those dishes. Oof.
Oh I had the sharbat cocktail which was perfect. It's the kind of spicy habiscus flavor that I adore.“

“I recently discovered Marina Indian Cuisine on Lombard St, and it’s quickly become my go-to spot for Indian food in San Francisco. I live nearby and often order takeout, and I’ve had the chance to sample almost everything on their menu. The flavors are genuinely authentic, reminding me of the rich and vibrant tastes of India.
What I love most is the freshness of their food. You can tell it’s made with care—none of that stale, reheated taste you get at some other places. The spices and aroma are a testament to the fact that the dishes are prepared fresh.
The service here is excellent too! The staff is always warm and welcoming, ensuring a great dining experience every time. Plus, the ambiance is spot-on—clean, tidy, and with a comfortable atmosphere that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal.
If you’re into Indo-Chinese cuisine, you’re in for a treat! Their desi-style chow mein and momos are a must-try—easily some of the best in the city. Give this place a shot, and you won’t be disappointed!“

“I've had this place on my "to-eat in sf" list for a while now and was finally able to enjoy it. I brought a Nepali friend wit me as well and she loved it just as much as I did.
The server was very kind and attentive and did his best to always make sure we were doing well. My friend spoke to the two servers in Nepali and was happy to be able to use her native language with the locals in the city. This is also how we found out that the restaurant owner is probably from Nepal which is what made the food so delicious and a great mix of Indian and Nepali flavors.
The chicken momo was the first thing that came out and was visually beautiful and the flavors were truly outstanding to the point of it being some of the best momo I've tried in the bay. The chutney that accompanied it was so good my friend made sure to leave the container clean.
My lamb vindaloo was again some of the best I've had. Not too spicy and not too mild. That along withe the cheese garlic naan was delicious and worty of another trip back.
The chicken biryani my friend ordered was just as delicious as the rest of the foods and I would've loved to have more of it but I was stuffed with everything else!
Cannot recommend this place enough. It's a must try!“

“Met up with some friends to try out Indian Oven and wasn't disappointed. We had Tandori Chicken, Chana Masala, and a Lamb dish in a cashew sauce (forgot the name). All had different flavors and were delicious. Spice levels were good and not overpowering. Everything was cooked to order and we even watched as the kitchen hand rolled our Naan. Prices were extremely reasonable for today's climate. We spent about $60 for 3 people to all eat till we were full and even took home a container of food. I'll definitely go back and/or order takeout from them. If you are looking for something different from the usual burgers and chicken sandwiches, give the Indian Oven a try.
Parking: This is located in Lower Haight and street parking is limited. There are however a lot of transit options to get here. The Church Muni station is a few blocks away as well as the J/N lines on Church/Duboce. Also lots of busses like the 22 and 7 go right by here.“

“We stopped there on our way to catch our flight at SF airport. We were short on time and we placed our order. Our server was fantastic helping us to order and we were served our dinner promptly. There was a feeling that all the staff worked together as a team, looking after all the tables not just their own station. That is a sign of true teamwork. We really enjoyed our dinner there. Food and service~ EXCELLENT!“

“The people that work here are super friendly and hospitable. They knew me by name after the first visit and were extremely accommodating, even when ordering food like 15 min to closing. The food is also very good. We picked up food from here 3x in one week. ? The "mild" is definitely more like white people medium, but the flavor is very good. The stand out dishes we've had so far are the masala fries, butter chicken, and chicken biryani. It's also a good amount of food for the price in my opinion. Highly recommend this place!“

“Truly phenomenal flavor. Never been to this place in person but I doordash from here often and the quality and taste of the food is just out of this world. I could only imagine how good this would be fresh in person. If you haven't tried this place, you're missing out! My personal favorites and recommendations are the tandoori fish, butter chicken, and fish biryani.“

“I had their lamb roganjosh, aloo Gobi, and chicken chettinand. People might say Pakwan is the place to go for good Indian food in the city, but I was thoroughly impressed with what I ate at Keeva. This is not watered down gringofied Indian food. Absolutely loved the lamb roganjosh, the cauliflower and potatoes were very well spiced, and while I personally didn't like the chettinand, I understand the flavor profile and what that dish is. You're missing out on really delicious Indian food if you're not eating here.“

“Wasn't a fan the first time though the cousins were. Enjoyed it much more the second time.
The first time we got medium spice for most of our dishes and was really struggling. So the second time we got mostly mild. But the mild had no spice at all. Would love if there was an in between spice level.
* Papadi Chaat - medium spice. Crispy. Cold. Didn't know there were spice levels for chaat. This is not a main menu item but instead a special we saw taped at the counter. Would get again
* Aloo Tikka Chaat - medium spice. Mixes really well with the papadi chaat
* Chicken Vindaloo (mild) & Lamb Vindaloo (medium) - both the vindaloo sauce came out tasting completely different. We don't know if it's because of the spice level or the fats from the proteins but it was different. We enjoyed the lamb vindaloo more.
* Chicken korma (mild) - good
* Paneer tikka masala (mild) - favorite but would have liked a little spice
* Chicken biryani (mild) - good
* Garlic naan - have garlicy. Not too oily. Crispy.
All curries comes with rice if you ask for it.
There are specials on the counter.
Free endless chai.“

“I got Karahi Gosht and it was authentic and flavorful. Serving quantity was decent as well. I live in the South Bay and most places over there don't get this dish right. 5* from me, for the Karahi Gosht and Naan. Service understandably took some time because they make it fresh and piping hot. And I went there in between performances of standup comedy at Cobb's next door.“

“Start with this fact that this place has changed name, so don't look for Bon AppeTikka.Given the number of Indian nationals eating here and the huge amount of take out deliveries occurring, there's solid demand for this shopThe meal (3 main courses) was fine as far as it goes. My problem was that there was nothing about the food that makes me go "wow!!". It's nice food, it's freshly prepared but it's just nice. There's no va va va wow there“

“I like the food here - it's all of a pretty high standard. The dahi puri chaat and channa masala are particularly good.
