“If you want to try authentic afghan food then this is the place! We had the best dinner here. We tried Bolani Potatoes, Bolani Kadu/Pumpkin and Borani Badenjon. All three items were delicious and very tasty. Their seating arrangements in patio is like middle eastern style facing water fountain. Bolani were crispy and sauces on Borani had great chef touch. “The Gurkha Kitchen is a mini chain selling Nepalese halal eats. It opened where Pho Viet was. Interior mostly unchanged save for the added pics on walls & a flatscreen. Light music in background. Greeted upon arrival, assigned table, given menu. I ordered quickly. Food cooked to order. Came in 10ish minutes. Offerings (Nepalese version): appetizers, Nepali Khaja set, Thakali Thali, desserts, tandoori, momos, veg./non veg. entrees, Indo Chinese, rice & biryani, drinks, beers. Eats: Khasi ko Sekuwa (18.99) country style BBQ goat. Marinated with many Himalayan herbs/spice -served with sliced carrots/cucumbers, red onions, cilantro, potato salad. Lightly battered, had nuanced flavors of spicy, tanginess, subtle sweetness. -accompanied by large serving of lightly fried pieces of rice, jalepeno slices, mucho peanuts, -comped nicely made chai. Didn't pair with BBQ. Was informed when ordering it's "bar food". It sure was filling. Took most of it to go. Yummy it was. 4.5 stars: most diverse Nepalese ever seen! So far great food at 2 locations. Worth repeating...“
“I kid you not, the lamb gyro here just might be the most delicious thing I've ever eaten in my life, and I am not a young person. I don't know how they manage to make the gyro so flavorful, but it's absolutely ridiculous, in a really good way though. I could eat here every day. The 5 stars they maintain here on Yelp is highly deserved.“

“Golden gate gyro served out their rice and fry plates quite fast, most likely since they have batches of meat prepared for a quick TAT. The spicy chicken wasn't that spicy, but it was tender and not bad. Contrary to what some comments said, their lamb was not overly salty which is pretty lucky. My other coworker had gotten their falafel plate and it came with 10 pieces which is A LOT. It also looked pretty tasty! If it's around, I'd pick up a plate again - 3.5 .“
“Kid-friendliness: Every dish I've tried so far is super delicious and great flavor, quality ingredients and preparation, and served caringly. This establishment deserves your business! I also appreciate the wonderful service. Very kind owner/manager. My toddler and I arrived at closing time recently and rather than just turn us away empty handed, they offered us something to take free of charge just because he saw my son was asking for food and didn't want to send him away hungry. I was in awe of this gesture. I'd had one dine-in meal there previously and also take-out, this place quickly become a family favorite.“
“Great pizza and very hospitable staff. It's a nice spot with plenty of clean seating. Would love to go back there. They were super accommodating to let us pick it up even well after they had closed. “I’m not a fan of fried chicken because most places overcooked their chicken and make it so dry, but this place has the most moist chicken ever. I had tender, and the tender was nicely moist, the batter is quite thick on the tender. My bf had chicken thigh part and it was great. My bf ordered the hot one, it’s very spicy but he could eat spicy fine. He said that “hot” level is enjoyable for him. I chose the mild one and I enjoyed it. The server was nice and attentive. He gave us the “hot” level sample to try on to make sure we could handle it before order.“

The crispy chicken is better than the rest, period, I said what I said. Give the Nashville spicy chicken one a try if you're feeling adventurous. The cheeseburger truly gives homemade with the tender beef cooked perfectly. There is nothing mini about these sandwiches but when you're cheating on your diet, the portion is guilt free.I appreciate the drink selection, especially since I'm not a soda fan. “Honestly everything was excellent. The food was fresh and flavorful, the service was intentful and speedy, and the atmosphere was inviting and cozy. The menu had a focused but varies collection of meat/kabob dishes. I ordered the chicken breast kabob plate. 17 bucks. Such a bargain for the amount of food these days and it tasted home cooked and prepared with pride--you can tell. The rice was perfectly seasoned and the entire plate was nicely balanced with a yogurt based cabbage slaw. Definitely will be coming back.“
“The purpose of this additional review is to strongly encourage you to treat yourself to delicious Mediterranean dishes at this restaurant. While it’s lovely having the restaurant all to ourselves at munch time, I can’t help thinking that so many people are missing out. Better babaganoush you probably won’t savor anywhere served with fluffy, fresh, pillowy pita bread. We enjoyed the vegetarian moussaka version. The servers are so friendly and the atmosphere in the room is relaxing with lovely music in the background. We need to support these family businesses in the communities where/near we live. They have a Sunday brunch buffet that we look forward to trying too.“
