The variety her is pretty amazing. The team is usually pretty helpful. They did need a few days notice to make a birthday cake, which wasn't super convenient. But it was tasty!
Stopped by to pick up quick dessert. Lovely little shop with lots of goodies. VERY expensive but worth it. BUT the staff was anything BUT welcoming, not rude but not friendly. No one said hello to me or thanked me for coming in and when asked a question they mumbled the answer. I try so hard to support local business but staff needs to be trained to at least APPEAR to be appreciative of the business. I recently got to try their fruit fondants and lavender shortbread. The fruit fondants are good if you like sweets since they really mainly taste like sugar - I couldn't really make out distinctive fruit flavors - and are almost powdery in consistency. I really liked the lavender shortbread since it does have a fairly strong lavender flavor and has that buttery richness of shortbread.
