“These churros were literally the best I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t know how he does it but the churros maintain the heat inside but are still very crispy and buttery and sweet! We stopped by today and luckily got the last batch! A huge bag for $10!“

“We using cakes from them since 2013. Bakery atmosphere is not that pleasant its just simple old style typical bakery. Man has difficulty in speaking English but their eggless cakes are always our top priority. Prices compared to other fancy bakeries are way too good“

“I am lucky enough to work with Victor’s mom and once in a while she brings Victor’s cheesecake to work and then I lose my mind! I don’t know if I can find the right words in the English language to do them justice but here it goes! Victor’s cheesecakes are like a cheesecake became the queen of England but it never lost its cool and warmth of a regular person! You still have the cheesecake, the smooth cheese taste and texture we all love but then the cheesecake gets so refined by the flavors that it comes in that you just have to stop after every bite and really taste the bouquet of flavor and sweetness that just makes you sit down and really enjoy it! If Victor lived next to me, I would be 500 lbs! I have loved every flavor I tried but my favorite is definitely hands down ube, and apple, and peach, and pineapple! Never mind, I can’t choose one! “I was craving rice cakes filled with sesame and sugar one day and was ecstatic to find out that one of the best rice cake places in the Bay Area was near me. When I went in around Sunday 7am, the owners were busy making bulk orders but kindly paused to show me a few of their small selections for sale. Sadly, no honey rice cake was available for the day but after asking, they advised to call beforehand to confirm what they have in stock that day since the menu changes each day. It’s a good idea since it seemed like their hours vary based on what I read from the notice on the door. Bring cash.

I picked up two (pictured) rice cakes and they were both warm, soft, and delicious. I will be returning for more.

I really wanted to eat real honey rice cake, not the hard honey rice cake sold at the market, so I looked for it, and luckily, there was a traditional rice cake shop nearby, so I rushed to it in the morning. There was no honey rice cake that day, but I regretfully bought injeolmi and bean rice cake with anko and I was not disappointed. It's the same taste I had in Korea when I was young. I would like to thank the owner who works hard from early in the morning to make delicious rice cakes for Koreans living in other places. I hope you do this for a long time. You are already receiving a lot of love in Northern California, but I hope you prosper even more.“

“I like this location because they always have a full selection of pastries available and the service is always exceptional. The atmosphere is nice in here. It is not too noisy. Very convenient location with a bus stop right outside of the restaurant. Also is about a 10 minute walk to South Hayward BART Station.“

“So excited that San Honore took over the former space of Luisa and Son's. While I miss Luisa's empanadas and palabok, San Honore is a VERY welcome addition to this Island Pacific shopping plaza!

No more drives to Hayward to get hot and warm pandesal, which is by far the best I've had outside of the Philippines. Warm, a little crunch, but soft inside is THE best pandesal. Getting them hot and fresh is the most favorable, but these San Honore pandesal will last awhile and still be almost as good as the day you bought them. You can buy bags that are in the displays, but if you want peak pandesal, order at the counter. They will give you a plastic bag separate from your hot pandesal (in the paper bag). When you store them at home, keep them in that plastic bag so they stay fresh. So good! Better get some good jams or sandwich fillings to put in them, though quite honestly I can eat them plain bc they have a subtle sweetness to them that makes them a great stand alone as well. And you cannot go wrong with a good pat of butter either!

My next favorite item to get there is their bibingka! It will change your life. lol. BUT, you. must get it when it's fresh from the oven. It's. so. good. The sweetness of the bibinkga, slight tart and creaminess of the small cubes of cream, cheese, and the salted duck egg pieces that stud the top, make this my favorite bibingka. Remember, get it hot and fresh. These are popular so you may have to wait around for a batch to come out.

There are so many items to choose from. You may walk into the store and feel a little overwhelmed. But they've got everything from banana bread, taisan, ube (everything), a variety of rolls and breads, cakes (in the fridge), as well as asado (pork bbq) and bola bola (meatball) siopao (steamed buns), siomai and even taho. Now I've tried the taho at the Hayward location and didn't love it, but I will give it another try at this location.

Stick to the baked goods and you won't go wrong!“

“The Filipino deserts app has mold. Brought these to a party and thank God it was discovered by my guests at the party. Called to get a refund and below me off as a joke. Mind you my wife and I live one hour away and demanded that we bring back the product that was purchased back to them to inspect. I have been purchasing deserts from them for over 35 years and spend a lot of money. So sad and no accountability and glad no one got sick. I will be letting the San Bernardino health dept know of this crooked establishment not following State and court health codes.“

Cathy greeted us and since I wanted a blended drink, she suggested the oreo flavor which I'm glad she did

Both items came out great tasting and not too much sugar.
