It used to be good and cheap. Now it’s expensive, smaller, or not as good as it used to be. They raised the prices so high at the same time making the bread smaller, or of lower quality or both. Good examples are the haba-haba, bicho-bicho, cheese bread, and the cheese bulilit. But people still buy them because there’s no other option especially for craving Filipinos.
I love all their traditionally baked goods. I will drive to this Valerio's Bakery location even though I live closer to the Daly City store. The quality and freshness of their baked goods are much better than that of Daly City's. I wish every location had the same quality so that I do not have to make such a long drive.

We buy our bread here and other Filipino desserts such as Carioca, Turon and Ube. My dad friend Ramon use to work here and give us free food. We missed him dearly he passed away and so far there worker here is nicer than Union City Location.
