“We had a lovely lunch at Tri Valley Bistro. We had the fish tacos and risotto. Both were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. I had a lovely glass of wine while my friend had a mocktail, which they offered to make since we didn't see any on the cocktail menu.“

“Amazing whiskey selection and great food!“
“I recently visited Crush’d and had such a wonderful experience that I felt compelled to share. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable evening.
The cocktails are absolutely outstanding—creative, well-balanced, and clearly crafted with care. The food is just as impressive, with every dish full of flavor and beautifully presented. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into both the menu and the overall experience.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service. The staff particularly Casey consistently goes above and beyond to provide personalized attention, making each visit feel special. They remember preferences, offer thoughtful recommendations, and genuinely make you feel valued as a guest.
It’s rare to find a place that excels in every aspect—drinks, food, and service—but this wine bar does exactly that. I always look forward to coming back.“

“I always order Country Breakfast. I am a snob when ordering my breakfast. Crispy hashbrown, crispy bacon, over easy eggs and dry sourdough. In my 10 plus years of placing my order. They have never ever failed my requests.Thank you to the owner and support staff.
I must mention the bar selections have excellent choices and the quality of drinks poured are well made and substantial.“

“Absolutely a must-try! Wine Bar & Restaurant offers a wonderful combination of great food, excellent wine, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The quality and presentation of the food really stand out, and the wine selection makes the experience even more enjoyable. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome.
If you’re looking for a place to enjoy good food, great wine, and a relaxing evening, I highly recommend giving Pairings a try. Definitely a place worth visiting!“

“Friendly, attentive service. Perfect fish and chips, (crunchy batter, soft, moist fish, un-soggy fries), paired great with a double IPA. Cobb salad was loaded, and very fresh. Iron Horse Trail proximity gives biking and walking options, but there's plenty of off-street car parking.“

“Absolutely LOVE Fat Maddie’s, which is why we’re here a couple times a month. Happy Hour is extra amazing with great food and drinks on their HH menu. Thank you to Damien and the rest of the top notch staff!“
“After a long day flying into Oakland from the east coast in December with bad weather, we arrived frazzled & tired but ok. Since we were on east coast time, we just wanted to eat & go to bed. Michael, a front desk attendant, gave us outstanding customer service - the best we have ever seen from a front desk staff. He went out of his way for us as they tried to help us figure out a way to get to Lake Tahoe in between blizzards. There was also a female front desk clerk who was helping also but I forgot her name. He went above and beyond to make our stay. Thank you, Michael. Room was your typical Courtyard. It is an older hotel & definitely needs an upgrade. Good local owned restaurant next door. Right off the interstate 580 & about 20-25 minutes’ drive to Oakland airport without traffic. Cons: Hotel charges for parking. Not sure if they have problems in the area, but it seemed to be safe. It seemed strange to pay for parking for a hotel in the suburbs.
