“This is my favorite comedy club in the Bay Area. Staff is incredible, crowds are always fun. Thank you Patrick & Lori for making something truly special! “We had dinner there tonight (3/14/24) for the first time and we will be back. They are two of the most interesting and truly delicious sandwiches we have ever eaten. I can't remember what mine was called, but it had chicken (roasted perfectly), sauerkraut, cheese and other awesome stuff on a grilled rye bread that was excellent. My bride had the turkey sandwich and loved it. But the star of the show were the Tater Tots. Perfectly crisp with BBQ sauce to dip them in and then into some wonderful real bacon bits. Every tot stayed crisp from the first to the last. The meal was worth every penny and more. Get into the Alameda location and try it. You won't be sorry. PS: The only bad part for me is that we live in Seattle and won't be back down until May. But you can bet I will be eating here then.“
“Another PHENOMENAL experience! It's Alameda Restaurant week so busier than usual but we got in at 6:30 Sat and were out by 7:10. Ordered the burger and chick sando- both have been on our minds for a while but we always get Trips Triple and it felt like we were cheating but man was it worth it! DELICIOUS! Kind of wish we got the Crab Stew/Cioppino because it's looked amazing but we have no regrets with our sandwiches and the awesome Brussels sprouts.“
“Came here with an old friend, we ended up staying for three hours, and we're the last to leave with a large margin. What kept us so long was the great food, the excellent service, and an atmosphere that invites long discussions.Everything on the menu looked so good, and made it hard to pick. I decided to go for scallops on risotto, and finish with a variation on New York Cheesecake. OMG, it was all soooo good.Will be back soon!“

The other things sold there are also delicious, but the salads are on another level. Prosciutto Croquettas for the WIN - Panko-Breaded Fried bechamel with Ground Prosciutto & Garlic Aoli dipping sauce was DIVINE. Spinach and Arugula tossed in Parmesan Cheese and their House Apple Cider vinaigrette made me feel like I was eating healthy (sort of). And let's not forget the 8oz Grilled Flat Iron Steak... drooling just thinking about it! Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes were creamy perfection, Red Wine Demi Glace added that extra oomph, and those Crispy onion Strings brought the whole thing together. “We come here every year for my cousin's bday so he can order plain fettuccine Alfredo lol. But honestly pasta pelican is actually quite good and has a wide selection of tasty pastas for a reasonable price. The service is also great and let you have as much house baked bread as you want and it's not difficult to get a reservation, even with a large party as the restaurant is pretty large inside. The interior design of the restaurant could and a little face lift--it's giving old ship. And maybe that's on purpose for the theme but regardless I don't go there for the ambiance but go there to enjoy delicious food.“
“Wonderful service, super tasty food and coffee. Glad we asked about the Spaniard, was a super creamy nice change to try! Loved the longanisa lumpia and chorizo tots shared plates. Silog and loco moco entrees were sizeable and made for great leftover eats later!“
“Service was friendly and elegant. Food and cocktails are good quality and creative. Pizza crust and house made pasta are tasty, though the desserts are a bit too sweet. It can be a bit loud when crowded with a soaring ceiling and many hard surfaces. No paper menus; you have to use a QR code to look at the DoorDash app then tell the server your order. I get that this is a cheaper way to update the menu, but it’s really tacky at this price point and level of service.“
“The best place we've eaten at in alameda! My mom said her eggplant was crispy and very well seasoned. The burger had bacon mixed it-and you could actually taste the bacon! The foccacia was amazing! Wish it came with a little more bread! Bar tender Mike was the best!“
