“As a first responder, I love caffeine first thing in the morning to start my day! I remember that previously I had ordered a coffee and their machines were down so they couldn’t prepare the coffee I had ordered but the manager of this establishment had still gotten me a coffee to help me with my troubles and gave me a refund for my original order! Not only did I leave a tip but that was an amazing way to start the day! Usually I am always taking care of someone else…but it was really nice to have someone take care of me too the love in the community of Hayward is why I do what I do and this just made my day! I was so frustrated I asked to speak to a manager. And let me tell you they have the best manager I have ever met! She more than took care of my issue and she helped me to really love this location.Ms, Joby Is the most humble and understanding manager, she will go as far as to get on her hands and knees and assist all her staff. As a fellow student, I understand the learning curve that comes with any job, and I appreciate the efforts of the staff.While I was eager to try the pink drink, unfortunately, it wasn't available when I ordered, and there were no other strawberry-flavored options in stock. Though disappointed, I know these things happen, especially in a busy environment like a campus Starbucks.Opting for a frappe instead, I found it to be a bit too chocolatey for my taste and was not impressed. Additionally, the shortage of straws led to a minor inconvenience, with only a spoon offered as an alternative. However, I must commend the staff for their quick thinking in finding a solution. I had no choice but to smile and walkaway with my drink at hand. Another person in the store apologized, and I overheard him telling the server to tell the customers that there are no more straws before handing them a drink with no straw. Which is a simple and brilliant idea. Again, it shows that everyone is learning and we can’t be mad at that.Despite these challenges, I want to emphasize that I understand everyone is doing their best, and I appreciate their efforts. While I may not rush back before class for another coffee, I recognize that Starbucks remains a convenient option for those in need of a caffeine boost on campus. “Basically Starbucks is a franchise location built on a established expectation for what you should receive. So once again, Starbucks at this particular location gets five stars because they deliver on all expectations. If you like Starbucks no reason not to go to this location. Although you could combine your visit like going to the Target across the street, which also has a Starbucks inside.“
