“The food and service here is wonderful, get as many flavors of the fried chicken that you can. Surprisingly, even the boneless fried chicken is fantastic – it’s made with chicken thighs, so it still has a crispy skin and dark meat texture.

My wife and I visited during a workday lunch hour so the owners, a mother and her son, we’re operating and taking orders. They were very nice and super hospitable. I wish them all the best with this business because they have a fantastic product.

No seating inside, as it is kiosk/countertop ordering, but there are tables outside to enjoy your food there. Super chill, nothing fancy.“

“This spot is a food truck completely covered in graffiti and permanently stationed inside the parking lot of a convenience store. You’ll need a keen eye to find them, but the Hotboys name and logo are on that truck. I had to do a second take to be sure I was in the right place. Also, other folks walking past the food truck was my only clue that there’s a nook with more tables nearby.

I could swear that the chicken tender meal has more chicken than the sandwich, and those were THICK tenders, let me tell you. Each one had to weigh at least 4 ounces. You can’t see it, but the tenders come with a piece of Texas-toast-style white bread and pickles on the side.

I decided to give my tear ducts a break and went for Medium this time. I teared up once . . . but I swear it was the sun. LOL. For me, including toast is extraneous, as I ordered a chicken tender combo specifically to avoid bread. But a plain slice of white bread is a very southern touch, so I can’t hand out a demerit for my personal preference. I just didn’t eat it.

The crinkle-cut fries come tossed in an addicting and light Cajun seasoning. They’re served with the same money dipping sauce that comes on top of the sandwich. I liked it more for dipping than poured on the sandwich.“

“My first visit to this pizzeria was quite an experience. If you enjoy your pizza dripping with grease, then this spot will definitely satisfy your cravings. However, I personally prefer my pizza on the less greasy side, so I doubt I’ll be coming back for the pizza itself. On the bright side, I must say that their garlic bread is a standout! It’s absolutely fantastic—perfectly toasted with just the right amount of garlic and butter. “This is so tasty n crunchy Halal fried chicken in the area, better than other chains. Got 8 pieces chicken 2 times with different sides n both times chicken was tender inside and crunchy from outside. Flavor n spices are so good and balanced. Will definitely go back again, recommend to everyone who is a big fan of fried chicken, and its HALAL!“

“You know normally I'd see this and say, "Big deal...". It actually was pretty good from maybe 20 years ago or so I last tried this. The two guys working were very cool. I could tell doing a good job meant alot to them. Instead of a $2 tip I gave $2.25. Totally joking. Tip these workers kids!

“This location by far is THE BEST Mountain Mike's pizza joint in terms of consistency and customer service. My pizza always comes out hot, fresh and fully topped (disclaimer: I've never ordered the XL size, just M or L). The restaurant is also very clean and well kept unlike some pizzerias in Hayward. My current faves are the Robber's Roost with white sauce or their Chicken Club, they just hit different but I also like to try some of their unique creations from time to time even if it ain't my vibe like the Nashville Hot or Zesty Aloha pizzas.

What made my experience today was that the pizza artist accidentally made my pizza on a regular crust instead of thin crust but the manager noticed it immediately when I went to pick it up and asked if I wanted to wait a few mins for them to remake another. I didn't care at this point because I don't like to waste food BUT being Thanksgiving weekend, I was going to give half to the homeless or less fortunate anyways since I have 2 Thanksgiving dinners this week. I asked to buy 2 small boxes but the manager said don't worry about it and gave me the boxes with extra condiments like ranch, peppers and cheese to me FOR FREE! I have a tradition of paying it forward especially during holidays for those that have less than I do even though we all have our struggles.

I didn't catch her name but I'd like to thank the manager at the register and the cooking staff she had behind her for their generosity especially during times like these. It just makes me feel good that some businesses still care about people as little of a gesture that it might be.

“It’s great to finally have an Amici's NY Style pizza in the Hayward area. It’s located at the new East Bat Eats food hall in downtown. This is mainly for pick up but there’s around 16 to 20 seats if you want to dine in. The pizza at this location taste the same as I remember when we used to dine at the Redwood Shores location. “This place is primarily a gas station and car wash. The chicken is better than McDonalds' chicken nuggets but it is a sideline here. The store that is a part of the gas station is the best and most well stocked of any similar store that is a part of a gas station operation. And the service is superb.“

“Customer service was so polite when I first walked in and greeted me immediately. Food was delicious and super clean. No greasy residue found on the boxes or in the bag. If you're in the area, definitely stop by! Order out would be preferred due to the heavy inflow of traffic. 🫡🫡🫡🫡“
