I visited this family owned place today thanks to my daughter seeing their food on Tik Tok. I ordered the Korean fried chicken, the galbi meal and jap chae.

Literally everything was delicious. Great portion sizes for a fair price. A plus is that I met the son of the owner and we chatted for a little bit about their history. Very kind people. For sure I'll be back to support.“

“Just go! There's a parking lot so you won't need to circle to find a spot. The food is INCREDIBLE!
And they have a little hidden oasis in the back where one can eat a crazy good burger & spiced fries.

“ok so at first i didnt know this place was even a thing but the pizza we order was very good and there was code on our coupon and we used and it said we could get a free 2 liters bottle soda but we used it to knock down the price and so when we went to go pick up the pizza and we told the worker about the coupon and ect and they told us since we used the code to knock down the price if we wanted the bottle soda we would have to pay 5 bucks for it so we decided to leave the place and we arent coming back to this place“

“5 stars. Diana and her husband run the best chicken operation in the Bay Area, full stop. The Korean fried wings are shatter crisp outside, juicy inside, glazed in a sweet heat savory sauce that nothing else on the West Coast touches.

Everything here is made from scratch, her husband treats every recipe like a trade secret, and you can taste why. Get the wings and the fries. Save room for dessert, imported from Italy.

I initially ordered four plates and appreciated the menu variety, especially seeing whole chicken wings offered. But the real moment came when I sampled the shrimp in my car. It was outstanding. Perfectly seasoned, flavorful, and memorable.

“I was able to experience this bar during a sponsored Hennessy Bar Crawl during the week of Juneteenth. The event was presented as a fundraiser for black Joy which I love to participate in. I love the service of the bartender's and the overall bar experience was a vibe. It was a very modern but classic feel. All of the people were very friendly and the bartenders knew how to mix a drink right. This is definitely a place I will venture to again as this bar is tucked away in Downtown Oakland but once you're inside you definitely feel the love.“

“BG and I stopped at Monkey King at the Brewery before her nail appointment. There was no wait when we arrived, which made it an easy choice when we were on a schedule.

We ordered the Korean-flavored wings and pork fried rice. The wings were generously coated in sauce and packed with flavor, while the fried rice had plenty of pork, egg, and green onion throughout. Everything tasted good and the portions were satisfying.

Service was okay—nothing bad, but nothing particularly memorable either. The biggest challenge was finding parking, so give yourself a little extra time. Overall, the food made it a solid stop, and I would return to try more of the menu.“

“I’ve been eating Pizza Factory pizza for over 15 years. It was the only pizza joint in my town while growing up. Since moving to the Bay Area 10 years ago I’ve missed the classic taste of the pizza! Imagine my surprise when I got a craving for some za and saw that a PF was in the same city as me! It’s quick, cheap (for the bay), and delicious. Can’t go wrong with this spot.“

However, I personally prefer my pizza on the less greasy side, so I doubt I’ll be coming back for the pizza itself. On the bright side, I must say that their garlic bread is a standout! It’s absolutely fantastic—perfectly toasted with just the right amount of garlic and butter. What surprised me more is their Sides.
While the seasoning of their chicken sometimes runs a little too salty, the sides just balance it out perfectly.

- Mashed potatoes with gravy is creamy while not being runny.
