About Pakwan Restaurant | Pakistani

Pakwan Restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with huge portions of authentic, flavorful food. The menu features generous servings of chicken biriyani, behari kabab, malai chicken kabab, nihari, Bengan bharta, chicken breast tikka, aloo qeema, and haleem. The naan and garlic naan are also good, and the mango lassi is delicious. The spice level is right, though guests not used to spice should ask for spice levels. The restaurant is much cleaner than some other Pakistani places, with nice wood paneling and lighting that feels comfortable for families. The metal glasses and serving dishes are appreciated. Service is simple—order at the counter, get food, and pick up own plates and utensils—but fast and easy. Prices are fair, with two plates of biriyani, garlic naan, kebab, and lassi costing $50. The tip option in the pay machine has 5% and 10% options, which is really rare. There is lots of backside parking off Mission Blvd. The newly renovated location looks great inside, and the servings seem more than before—a good change.
