It's rare to meet someone who naturally makes people feel welcomed and loved, but Shawny does exactly that. Her positive energy was contagious, and her authenticity stood out in the best possible way. By the end of our visit, we felt like we'd come back just to see her again.

“The fried chicken is crispy outside and juicy tender inside. The various chicken combos are good deals. There is a wait for orders because the food is not precooked and sitting under heat lamps. Parking can be difficult and the small parking lot fills up quickly. I will definitely be returning!“

Best fried fish I’ve ever eaten, and everything on the tasting menu was excellent: the corn bread, salad, boiled peanuts, shishito peppers, hushpuppies and beans and rice. So much care has been put into the details, from the food to the atmosphere to the lighting.“

They went up on the prices unusually get oxtails but for $38 they can keep them because they don’t even be all that lol and the fish actually good but they prices are to high so I won’t be coming back I’m leave this spot to the younger crowd who came from social media lol $38 km going to the grocery store

“The food is good and the service is great. Ms. Nella is always welcoming, kind and accomadating whenever I pick up my food; that never wavers. My only complaint is, this establishment has inconsistent hours. I always call in my order but there has been two incidents where I’ve called in, didn’t get an answer and just drove over as I figured they were busy. Lo and behold, they were closed despite the hours of operation posted on line. I wasted my time twice going down there. Now I know that if no one picks up the phone, they’re closed.“
