“We stopped here on a whim as we were looking for something new after a workout class.

Walking in there were plenty of tables open. This place has an enormous bar area as well. It must have been a sports bar in its former life.

We ordered the Roti to start and my wife ordered the spring rolls with shrimp. I went with the roast duck over rice. The Roti was fine… it seemed like they put their roti in a panini press and just served it like that, so not a lot of flavor. The Thai restaurant down the street (infinity) has a much better roti. The curry dipping sauce was really good though. My wife said the spring rolls were “fine”. I really enjoyed my duck over rice dish though. The duck was moist and full of flavor and the hot soy sauce had a nice kick to it.

Service seemed a bit off, slow to get water for us and hot sauce, but everyone was nice.

I’d come back for the duck rice, but I don’t know if this place would get elevated to a “must return”.“

“ok so at first i didnt know this place was even a thing but the pizza we order was very good and there was code on our coupon and we used and it said we could get a free 2 liters bottle soda but we used it to knock down the price and so when we went to go pick up the pizza and we told the worker about the coupon and ect and they told us since we used the code to knock down the price if we wanted the bottle soda we would have to pay 5 bucks for it so we decided to leave the place and we arent coming back to this place“

“I was recommended Bloom pizzeria by my friends. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with excellent hospitality that made us feel instantly welcomed.

The owner himself was incredibly friendly, taking the time out of his day to chat with us and even share the story behind one of his best selling “Momo pizza”. If you’ve met the owner, you can tell how much passion and thought goes into everything he does.

The pizza itself was absolutely delicious! It was fresh, flavourful and unlike any other pizza I’ve had before. You can really taste the consistency of quality in every bite. On top of that, the layout was of the restaurant was amazing, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

As someone from the UK, my only wish is that Bloom Pizzera were in London so I could visit regularly. It’s a place that leaves a lasting impression and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and genuine hospitality.“

“Im not a salad guy, but my wife loves salad.

Picked up a salad today from Green and Grains and boy was I surprised at the portion! 1 salad was enough for my wife and myself; with leftovers for later!

Got to speak to Ian for a little bit and was surprised that all the ingredient are organic and locally sourced. Including the pickled onions being made in house!

For a guy who doesn’t eat salads, I would say the Asian chicken was the best salad I’ve ever had!

Going to try their sandwiches on the next visit!

They have many pods from chicken biryani to paneer wraps with fries, a personal favorite of mine is the fried veg momo, another one being the paneer tikka masala with rice. “Wonderful! Today (5/18/26), at around 4:30-5:00 PM, I was craving a fresh, not too heavy meal to satisfy my lunch cravings while on break. I was recommended this specific nick the Greek from a good friend of mine, as it was local, and was said to have great service and good food. When I entered the store, I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely decorated and clean the store was, along with its upbeat, Greek themed atmosphere. My highlight of this visit was the food and service though, as the two employees at the front taking my order were extremely kind, patient, and were actively engaged in assisting me in ordering my meal. I ordered a beef gyro, which was absolutely delicious, filling, and perfectly satisfied my lunch cravings. I also ordered Greek fries, which came out about 1-3 minutes after my gyro came, and they were just as good, a perfect combination with my gyro. All in all, a great, fast, clean, and delightful experience from this restaurant, props to the workers at the cash register! This visit made my day, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more.“

“I would eat here again if I was staying at the Hyatt house again. 5 stars for atmosphere because it is close enough to enjoy your food in your room! It is a good atmosphere outside by the truck too but not lots of seating or cute decor if thats what you're looking for.

I was given a free beignet, fresh and hot to enjoy while I waited.

They didn't have the burger when I was there and I was between the mushroom sandwich or a chicken thigh pita. If I could go back, maybe next time I would try the chicken pita. The mushroom sandwich was good but I am personally not a fan of very thick bread. The fries were delicious, thick cut fries and fried perfectly. Nice and hot. Friendly service“

“World’s Best Pizza! Great place to grab a quick slice. Or order a whole pie with options of four crust styles, (New York, Sicilian, Grandma or Detroit). Then choose from over 25 different combinations of sauce & toppings! Pizza has never been better than this!“

“Quick and affordable made to order onigiri with vegan/plant based options. I like the spicy tofu triangle, the teriyaki tofu and the kimchi tofu triangles are good as well. They usually throw in complimentary edamame if you get a few, and they have other options as well. More of a grab and go atmosphere but they are fast and friendly to me, and the condiment section is loaded with good stuff like free sesame seeds, teriyaki sauce, Japanese spice, Sriracha, shoyu etc. I like this for a nice light meal for some protein and energy after a work out or so.“

“One of the best restaurants in Elmwood (4/5 green stars) It’s so easy to walk right by Summer Kitchen without even noticing it. It’s a narrow shopfront with just a few tables outside and it’s easy to miss as you ponder ice cream and other offerings from neighbors. Well, take it from me – forget ice cream and get a baked item from Summer Kitchen instead! Or try a pizza, or an egg salad sandwich – possibly the best egg salad sandwich you’ll ever have. But if you are limited for time, try one of the fresh fruit pastries (galette) – they seem expensive at $12 but they are big enough for two and totally worth it! I’m giving Summer Kitchen 4/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact. The positives are obvious – most of the ingredients are organic and locally sourced. Everything is made from scratch and there is transparent sourcing of the meat and fish (Mary’s free-range chicken, etc.). There are a reasonable amount of vegetarian options and you can definitely find some vegan dishes too (salads, sandwich, pasta). Summer Kitchen could make the biggest environmental impact by scrapping beef from the menu – replacing it with plant-based alternatives, ideally. Beef has a carbon footprint of around 10 times that of chicken and over 100 times that of pea protein, on average. If everyone one the planet ate 1 lb. of beef per week (the US average), total greenhouse gas emissions would increase by one third! I’ll write a post illustrating all of this soon on the Green Stars Project. So I really appreciate that Summer Kitchen makes more effort than the vast majority of restaurants on improving sustainability so that’s my suggestion for the biggest opportunity for improvement – cut the beef.“
