Reviews for Café Mezzo

It's an institution near the campus. Used to be called Cafe Intermezzo then maybe 8 years ago, the building was burned down, it took years to rebuild. Glad it's back and big salad and honey wheat bread are just as phenomenal as ever! More comfortable and bigger dining area! LOVE this place!

My absolutely favorite spot in Berkeley! I love getting the combo of 1/2 Roast Beef sandwich and 1/2 Tossed Green salad with the Green Goddess dressing. The portions are huge and easily becomes 2 meals for me every time. My favorite thing from this place is their ~honey wheat~ bread. SO good so so good

I came here with a friend thinking I would be getting myself a simple sandwich, but I got more than I expected. The portions here are huge! There's a lot of options here, I went with the BLTA sandwich with everything on it, the sandwich is made right in front of you. You can pick between several different bread, I got their most popular being the honey wheat bread. Each order comes with a wedge of pineapple. The BLTA was less than $12 and lasted me 2 meals. It tasted great full review
