I finally understand what the hype and awards are about when it comes to Boichik Bagels, this place was delicious! The bagel quality here definitely matches those on the east coast so I’m glad to have found a local bagel spot for the future.I came on a weekend morning and as expected there was a line and a bit of a wait but it wasn’t too bad. They set the shop up so that you ordered and waited outside for food only.Definitely recommend the classic sandwich if you’re hungry....read full review
this place makes really good bagels and it’s located in a very cute spot in berkeley. there are lots of cafes and shops nearby as well as a small plaza where you can sit and enjoy your bagel, granted it’s not too crowded. the shop itself is quite small, without seating, but all of the nearby public seating in the area makes up for it, i think. the bagels themselves are very good. the ingredients taste fresh and the cream cheese is spread liberally. i have been here twice now...read full review

There is no competition! With it being walking distance from my house, it is an absolute must visit for everyone who comes over. I take everyone to Boichik and brag about my luck in being so close to the best bagels I’ve ever had! I get bagels every single weekend because it’s impossible to go a week without them. Don’t even think about it, if you want a bagel in the Bay Area, you have to go here.
