“Friendly staff and the hottest one almost killed me but I signed the waiver just a word of advice don't do it get the normal regular hot 🔥. I took it togo and was driving when I decided to take a bite and I almost had an accident looking for a place to get something to drink. Felt like hot coals lava the hottest thing you can think of I ran into a seven 11 and ran straight to the water section and didn't even pay for the bottle I grabbed and started drinking I was hunched over swatting and crying for a few minutes before heading to the line to pay for the water. Please please the hottest one is not edible. In my opinion but feel free to experience on your own if you must. Peace ✌️

“I live in San Jose, but I drive all the way to this location because they are the best in the business. I know it's a franchise, but for some reason the chicken taste a lot better here.Every time I go over there, everyone greets me like they know me, even though I don't recognize anybody. “They need to rename this place Popeyes Fried Cornish Hen. The pieces of chicken were tiny! This was perfect example of shrinkflation. I knew the second I picked up my box of food. It was suspect and light. Even the side dish was skimpy. I used to really enjoy my meals here. This was an eye opener. The only saving Grace was the flavor of the chicken was still there. The staff was reasonably friendly and efficient. Minus one star because no one was attending the dining room. Could have used a little wiping down.“

“Tried it for the first time yesterday. We’ve walked by many times during lunch, thinking it was just another fast food chicken place…..finally gave it a try. It was excellent and staff was friendly. Chicken was fresh and crispy. They have many spice levels to choose from. Medium was plenty hot for me. The chicken tender was great, but the sliders were even better. Totally recommend this place!“

“This spot is a food truck completely covered in graffiti and permanently stationed inside the parking lot of a convenience store. You’ll need a keen eye to find them, but the Hotboys name and logo are on that truck. I had to do a second take to be sure I was in the right place. Also, other folks walking past the food truck was my only clue that there’s a nook with more tables nearby.

I could swear that the chicken tender meal has more chicken than the sandwich, and those were THICK tenders, let me tell you. Each one had to weigh at least 4 ounces. You can’t see it, but the tenders come with a piece of Texas-toast-style white bread and pickles on the side.

I decided to give my tear ducts a break and went for Medium this time. I teared up once . . . but I swear it was the sun. LOL. For me, including toast is extraneous, as I ordered a chicken tender combo specifically to avoid bread. But a plain slice of white bread is a very southern touch, so I can’t hand out a demerit for my personal preference. I just didn’t eat it.

The crinkle-cut fries come tossed in an addicting and light Cajun seasoning. They’re served with the same money dipping sauce that comes on top of the sandwich. I liked it more for dipping than poured on the sandwich.“
