“First time trying the local eatery... beautiful food, decor, pricing.. very much practicing safety through Covid which I greatly appreciate. I ordered to go: harira, tagine, the honey cookie with orange blossom ice cream and green tea with mint. It was a comfort food I never knew I was missing. Each bite I couldn’t place the memory but it felt like home. Maybe because everything was made with love? I’ve never had harira before but it went down like grandma made it, tagine... who knew turnips and prunes would delight my taste buds so much, what was that bread?? It was perfect for sopping up the soup and also the tagine juice. Lamb was tender and flavorful. I had a few sips of the tea and decided to save it for tomorrow’s afternoon beverage because it’s a Saturday picnic kind of beverage. I took a nibble of the honey cookie and again, saving for tomorrow’s picnic. I didn’t want to eat it on a full stomach so I could truly, fully enjoy every morsel. Lily and whoever else does the cooking... thank you! this is your calling. Get you some Oakland... ASAP!“

“My favorite Filipino food spot in the Bay Area! The food here tastes like home. The food is always good whatever you order, and the prices are a great value. I always try to come here regularly.

Just know that the inside seating is very limited and there are not that many tables. So, it's sometimes hard to get seating during busy hours. However, the food is prepared fairly quickly and table turn over is fast.“

When I select Sisig Silog twice, it grays out the order button, it only allows you to place the order if it is two different types of silog. I would have spent hundreds of more dollars at this point if it would just work so PLEASE I LOVE YOU GUYS PLEASE FIX IT AND TAKE MY MONEY.“

“Da Good Vibes offers a delicious fusion of Filipino, American, and Hawaiian dishes. When they replaced the old restaurant, I honestly thought I was going to miss the previous menu, especially the mochiko chicken, which was the old spot’s specialty. I remember hoping the new restaurant would have great food too, but oh my gosh, they exceeded my expectations from day one.

I’ve been a loyal fan ever since. I’ve tried most of their menu, and their roasted beef is my absolute favorite. It’s incredibly delicious, although it’s only offered for a limited time. The chicken adobo and guava-glazed pork are close runners-up, and the chili rice is just as flavorful. The staff is so warm and welcoming that I already feel like family whenever I visit. Kudos to the chef!“

“Great atmosphere family friendly and everyone saying hello acknowledging the customers. Had the bbq chicken rice and pork sinigang soup, very good well seasoned. Staff saved our Christmas dinner and helped us with a last minute order of their whole cooked Lechon! Wonderful service and food, will definitely be back and recommending anyone to come here for a family meal.“

“First time coming to PhilHouse and first time authentic Filipino food. 27 years of visiting America and never once enjoyed the delights of Filipino food. that's why I enjoy bite after bite while looking for similarities with Indonesian food where I come from, the taste is similar. I ordered the Mediterranean Large with white sauce instead of red. It was absolutely delicious — perfectly loaded with artichoke hearts, feta cheese, mushrooms, olives, green peppers, tomatoes, and green onions. The crust was great, toppings fresh and flavorful.
It was so good I ended up eating half right away and only brought the other half home 😄
Plus, it was ready in just 10 minutes — super fast and hot!
