“This place is phenomenal. Simple menu of banh mi and bowls but they’re done perfectly. The owner and chef loves what he does and it shows. During my last visit I overhead him training a new employee with such a compassionate tone. This place deserves all the success!“

“I have to share a post from my favorite restaurant the FOB kitchen in Oakland. Chef Janice’s dishes are incredible. Being a queer person it is great to have a fantastic place to dine and feel safe and excepted. If you are in Oakland you have to try it. My favorite is the adobo and halo halo.“

“This restaurant has CRISPY SISIG! Since I moved to the Bay Area, it’s been hard to find this kind of sisig. I just happen to not like the sizzling kind.✌️
I like being able to crunch on the onions. The seasoning is spot-on also. The ladies in Manila Turo-Turo are so nice and accommodating. Love their service. I’ll be coming back for more❣️“

“Best Filipino food in oakland. Super authentic Bangus. Only thing is I wish they’d eventually have their own restaurant instead of a ghost kitchen but I will keep ordering from here because it’s just so good. But I respect that restaurants are expensive and that these folks are doing what they can because the food is so worth it.“

“All I can speak to is their pancit and the lumpia shanghai and let me say... if just that is delicious I can only imagine everything else. I was at event earlier this year and I could not stop talking about how good the pancit was. It was like none I've ever tasted and being Filipino, I've tasted a lot. Then I was another event this month and there they were again, and their lumpia shanghai was the first to go. I'm definitely going to think of them for my next party.“

“I ordered the steak with Java rice. Got the calamari as an appetizer. Everything was delicious. Great service. We waited about 10 minutes to get seated. Parking was easy. We parked right up front. Food portions more than enough. Left very satisfied. Will be back again for sure!!!“
