The dishes we ordered reminded me of home-cooked meals you’d find in every Filipino household — comforting, familiar, and made with love. Every bite felt nostalgic and instantly brought me back home.

The prices might be a little higher compared to other places I usually go to, but honestly, it’s worth it for the quality, flavor, and the feeling of home the food brings.“

“This is our go to place when it comes on broasted chicken in fremont. We are just so happy that their still open. We came from sacramento and just attending an event in fremont. I heard they are close but i still took a chance to check it out. Chicken seems bigger now and still taste good. Good to see tita is still working there. Pansit need some calamansi but munggo is delicious. They don't have dine-in anymore, only take out and casg only.“

“My favorite Filipino food spot in the Bay Area! The food here tastes like home. The food is always good whatever you order, and the prices are a great value. I always try to come here regularly.

Just know that the inside seating is very limited and there are not that many tables. So, it's sometimes hard to get seating during busy hours. However, the food is prepared fairly quickly and table turn over is fast.“

“We definitely recommend Timog Restaurant! Laid back atmosphere and nice ambiance. We had their squid appetizer, bangus sisig, fried lumpia, grilled bangus, kare2 volcano and the humongous todo na halo2. The servings were generous and the staff were Uber friendly. We went to eat early lunchtime on a Thursday. The restaurant was located in an area I usually not visit. So it was a surprise when my friend suggested this area to eat. There were plenty of free parking spaces. The restaurant was open and clean and at this time of writing they have been in the business for about 11 years.

The food was fantastic, every dish was very well done and tasty. The waiter and waitresses were very attentive, and we could not be happier.

I highly recommend this restaurant. It is a hidden gem.“

“Da Good Vibes offers a delicious fusion of Filipino, American, and Hawaiian dishes. When they replaced the old restaurant, I honestly thought I was going to miss the previous menu, especially the mochiko chicken, which was the old spot’s specialty. I remember hoping the new restaurant would have great food too, but oh my gosh, they exceeded my expectations from day one.

I’ve been a loyal fan ever since. I’ve tried most of their menu, and their roasted beef is my absolute favorite. It’s incredibly delicious, although it’s only offered for a limited time. The chicken adobo and guava-glazed pork are close runners-up, and the chili rice is just as flavorful. The staff is so warm and welcoming that I already feel like family whenever I visit. Kudos to the chef!“

“I was invited here find my good long time lovely friend. Food is good they just don't serve chicken wings so I got the chicken tenders instead chicken tenders for just slightly overcooked but still delicious. The spaghetti was very delicious the sauce and the tiny pieces of sliced hot dogs made it even better. Clean restaurant clean restaurant friendly service with a smile“

“Great atmosphere family friendly and everyone saying hello acknowledging the customers. Had the bbq chicken rice and pork sinigang soup, very good well seasoned. Staff saved our Christmas dinner and helped us with a last minute order of their whole cooked Lechon! Wonderful service and food, will definitely be back and recommending anyone to come here for a family meal.“

“First time coming to PhilHouse and first time authentic Filipino food. 27 years of visiting America and never once enjoyed the delights of Filipino food. that's why I enjoy bite after bite while looking for similarities with Indonesian food where I come from, the taste is similar. “Very small Valerio’s place here in Union City. Lucky that there weren’t a lot of people here, but you’d probably get some good Filipinos goodies here. They also display other foods from the display bar if you’re up for a snack. I just wanted to get one thing there and that’s all.“

“I ordered food on doordash from here pretty late at night before they closed because it was one of the few places open at 2-3am. When I picked it up the food was fresh, hot, and the flavor was great. Ive previously had food from here and the only thing I didnt like was the lemon chicken, the pieces that were fried were very small and dry making it almost impossible to eat and chew through, but every other item ive had from here so far was much better in quality and taste.“
