“I have to share a post from my favorite restaurant the FOB kitchen in Oakland. Chef Janice’s dishes are incredible. Being a queer person it is great to have a fantastic place to dine and feel safe and excepted. If you are in Oakland you have to try it. My favorite is the adobo and halo halo.“

“I wanna give this filipino restaurant a good review because im very satisfied. I ordered food here twice now and i love the food. Generous amount of serving, i love the Beef Kare Kare( its a whole bow and very tender beef) i love the Bangus silog - crispy Bangus and taste really good- and i tried also the Crispy Pork Belly with rice( Lechon Kawali Silog) was really good too. Really tasty food from Tipunan . Happy Tummy here. 🙂👍“

“Lots of great memories eating with the kids at this Shake Shack on Bay Street. We picked Shake Shack for a party too - when we placed the large catering order, John and team made the whole process easy including selecting items and on-time delivery. It was a big hit with everyone!“

“Carinderia with so much nostalgia. It feels like home away from home. The food is authentically Filipino, with a great variety of skewers and viands to choose from. It was so comforting and familiar that I ended up calling everyone “Tita,” as if they were my own.“

“Got the adobo rice bowl which was really good! Tons of meat, lots of flavor, and fresh pickled vegetables. Next time I’ll get the Lechon Carbonara.

The surrounding area itself isn’t too pretty, so I’d say it’s best as a lunch spot for pickup.“

“What a delightful place to stop and grab a delicious empanada or a boba drink. I just love the chicken adobo empanadas. The pastry is fresh, flaky, and crispy. The lightly spicy chicken and potato filling is tender and savory. So good. Be sure and try the house-made sweet chili sauce as well. For dessert, try the mango cheese cake empanada. It is tangy, fruity, rich with cream cheese and topped with a sugar-glazed crust. The prices are very affordable too!“

“Hi City Poke nails that true island flavor! The owner is from Hawaii and brings all the aloha with him — super friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly passionate about sharing good food.

The poke itself? So ono. Fresh, flavorful, and totally legit. You’ll find classic Hawaiian-style fish alongside “mainland” toppings — because, as the owner said, “you gotta give the city what it wants.” But don’t worry, purists — the foundation is all Hawaii.

“My mom, my son and I went to Saluhall SF to have lunch. Tried checking out the different restaurants. Fortunately, we found Izzy & Wooks. Cheryl was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered Inay’s BBQ Chicken Bowl and The Manong Sandwich along with Calamansi for beverage. We all love the packaging. Very artistically done and the foods were all delectable. Quite interesting is the fact that they put bitter melon on the sandwich. My son loved it! Calamansi with mint was good, too. Chicken was yummy along with the kimchi. Cheryl even gave us complimentary lumpias for us to taste. That was so very kind of her. She was friendly and has great customer service. I recommend this restaurant to you, guys if you are in the area. Cheryl also said that they are intending to also have halo-halo in the future. We told her we will be back. For me: the foods, the customer service and the very friendly gesture are all perfect-5/5. Thank you, Cheryl. You are one of a kind! ( Sorry, no photos were taken. “Pretty decent option specially during the lunch rush hour. I got a veg burrito. Happy with my choice. You wouldn't want to miss on some of their sauces. You may get intimidated by the queue during lunch hour but their service is pretty fast. I don't expect you would have to wait more than 20 min from the queue to getting your meal :)“

“Highly recommend! Amazing Mediterranean pizza!
I ordered the Mediterranean Large with white sauce instead of red. It was absolutely delicious — perfectly loaded with artichoke hearts, feta cheese, mushrooms, olives, green peppers, tomatoes, and green onions. The crust was great, toppings fresh and flavorful.
It was so good I ended up eating half right away and only brought the other half home 😄
Plus, it was ready in just 10 minutes — super fast and hot!
