“I have to share a post from my favorite restaurant the FOB kitchen in Oakland. Chef Janice’s dishes are incredible. Being a queer person it is great to have a fantastic place to dine and feel safe and excepted. If you are in Oakland you have to try it. My favorite is the adobo and halo halo.“

“First time trying the local eatery... beautiful food, decor, pricing.. very much practicing safety through Covid which I greatly appreciate. I ordered to go: harira, tagine, the honey cookie with orange blossom ice cream and green tea with mint. It was a comfort food I never knew I was missing. Each bite I couldn’t place the memory but it felt like home. Maybe because everything was made with love? I’ve never had harira before but it went down like grandma made it, tagine... who knew turnips and prunes would delight my taste buds so much, what was that bread?? It was perfect for sopping up the soup and also the tagine juice. Lamb was tender and flavorful. I had a few sips of the tea and decided to save it for tomorrow’s afternoon beverage because it’s a Saturday picnic kind of beverage. I took a nibble of the honey cookie and again, saving for tomorrow’s picnic. I didn’t want to eat it on a full stomach so I could truly, fully enjoy every morsel. Lily and whoever else does the cooking... thank you! this is your calling. Get you some Oakland... ASAP!“

“Please GOD fix this doordash glitch. It does not allow you to use the buy 2 for 30 Silog Bundle deal with two of the same silogs. When I select Sisig Silog twice, it grays out the order button, it only allows you to place the order if it is two different types of silog. I would have spent hundreds of more dollars at this point if it would just work so PLEASE I LOVE YOU GUYS PLEASE FIX IT AND TAKE MY MONEY.“

“Lots of great memories eating with the kids at this Shake Shack on Bay Street. We picked Shake Shack for a party too - when we placed the large catering order, John and team made the whole process easy including selecting items and on-time delivery. It was a big hit with everyone!“

“Carinderia with so much nostalgia. It feels like home away from home. The food is authentically Filipino, with a great variety of skewers and viands to choose from. It was so comforting and familiar that I ended up calling everyone “Tita,” as if they were my own.“

“We drove all the way to HI City From Livermore to taste their poke bowls! It was well worth it! We both had a poke bowl filled with delicious poke which included ahi tuna, sweet and spicy shrimp, and furikake salmon. There were a few other types of fish. They added all kinds of toppings like corn, edamame, sesame seeds, ginger and much more, calamansi sauce on top. It was all on a bed of shiritaki noodles or you could pick rices or green salad. The owners were so welcoming and very friendly. The menu also offered different musubis and hot entrees like short ribs and more. They had the aloha spirit and I definitely would drive back into SF for another poke bowl.“

“Amazing flavors and presentation, efficient service. But letting entitled, shameless patrons bring dogs in the restaurant to whine and yap and disturb diners?? Management needs to train staff to stand up to the Karens, bounce dogs, and avoid heath code violations.“

“Highly recommend! Amazing Mediterranean pizza!
I ordered the Mediterranean Large with white sauce instead of red. It was absolutely delicious — perfectly loaded with artichoke hearts, feta cheese, mushrooms, olives, green peppers, tomatoes, and green onions. The crust was great, toppings fresh and flavorful.
It was so good I ended up eating half right away and only brought the other half home 😄
Plus, it was ready in just 10 minutes — super fast and hot!

The juicy, crispy Chickenjoy, the familiar flavors, and that warm Filipino hospitality have always taken me straight down memory lane to the Philippines. 🇵🇭❤️ That’s why it’s disappointing to see the San Antonio location slowly lose what makes Jollibee special. Lately, the service feels disorganized and slow, the quality seems inconsistent, and that warm Filipino welcome and atmosphere seem to be disappearing. On my most recent visit, I even received only 5 pieces of chicken when I ordered 6. Jollibee shouldn’t feel like just another busy fast-food chain. The Filipino warmth, hospitality, pride, and quality are part of the brand—and just as important as the Chickenjoy. I’m sharing this not simply to complain, but because we love Jollibee and want this location to do better. Please bring back the quality, organization, and unmistakable Filipino spirit that made us fall in love with Jollibee in the first place. We want our Jollibee back. 🇵🇭🐝❤️“
