“We came here for an early dinner before a show at The Freight. Service was quick and friendly. We had the pork belly and beef sausage curry rice bowls for only $9.99 each. Both were very tasty. The server offered extra sauce and rice if we needed it, but the basic serving was filling enough for us. We'll be back to try some of their other dishes.“

“My favorite restaurant in the whole world, of all time.
My go-to in college. Sadly, I moved away after college. But every time I'm back in town, maybe once a year, I always have to come get my Steve's fix, even though I graduated over 20 years ago. I don't care about Instagrammable presentation, designer art and furnishings, and pork from pigs who were properly socialized and pampered. Just give me simple but delicious food, generous portions, and good value. Can't ever beat that.“

“The food was pretty good, though from what I've seen the prices are pretty high. GBO gave us an item included, but otherwise, even though the food tastes good and has great portions, it's very expensive.
Also, for any GBOers who see this, the spicy rice cakes (Tteokbokki) is not portioned for a full meal!
Otherwise the dine out area is quite nice!
Vegetarian options: There is the miso tofu ramen and maybe one other option, so vegetarians won't be left out!“

“Food was delicious and the space felt so cozy and cool. Love the supermarket surrounding the tables. The back patio felt like I was at a friend's home for lunch. Staff were kind and attentive. Portion sizes were generous. We were ready for a nap after lunch.
We got the lunch bap-sang with the spicy sticky eggplant and miso seaweed soup and the tofu pancake stir fried udon noodles. Both were excellent. We will certainly be back to try more dishes!“
