“I always come here whenever I feel eating Korean food. My favorite here is the cold noodles which I always excited about. I hope they keep this on their menu! It might look weird eating cold noodles, but it is the most delicious soup that I had. When it comes to service, some of server aren’t approachable, how they approach me doesn’t feel welcoming for me. They tend to ignore me most of the time because I usually eat alone. I don’t really mind but it still nice if server is a bit friendly to customers. Overall, food is the best 100/10 always.“

“Got there in time for both lunch (12-4pm) and happy hour (3-5pm) so enjoyed their lunch meal along with $2 off a beer.

The lunch meal can be enough for two people since we left stuffed and still took some to-go. The food was delicious and served quickly so no complaints there.

Only annoying thing was little knats and flies flying around while we ate but not sure how they'll control that besides closing door.“

“Get the soondae guk here. This nationwide chain is well known for their soondae, but this location seriously loads up on the meat. The broth is ridiculously rich but delicate. I never finish my rice but I ended up ordering another bowl. Service is top notch. They’re so busy but took time to listen to us.“

“This is easily the best Korean Chinese food I’ve had in the Bay Area. The Spicy Pork Gan-Jajang was incredible, the black bean sauce is stir-fried with fresh chili peppers, which keeps it from feeling too heavy or greasy. If you love spicy food, this dish is a must :-)

The pork was perfectly crispy on the outside. It was even better dipped in the sweet and sour sauce that came with it.

The portions are also generous for the price, and the two dishes were more than enough to fill both of us. We also enjoyed chatting with server, who was warm and friendly. We’ll definitely be back :o“

If you’ve been missing your Korean Gopchang/intestines you had in SoCal, this is the spot to try! The portion is decent and flavor is there! Also love that there’s potato slices in there!

To avoid long lines, come during off hours like 3pm~ They don’t take same day reservations.

“This place has super fresh kim chee. Food comes out quickly. Their Kim Chee and chives pancake is perfect. I don't eat meat but my husband does and he was never disappointed with his order. He really likes their soup. The only thing to flag is that their soft tofu soup comes with pork even though it isn't listed on the menu. They were very nice to switch it out once I got it. Just wanted to flag for anyone who wanted the soft tofu soup but don't eat pork. The soft tofu soup with Kim Chee (no pork) is also totally yummy“

“We catered from here for our baby’s first birthday party (25 people) and can’t say enough how happy we were with our decision! They were kind enough to make several Korean dishes not on their standard menu (mung bean, imitation crab, and squash pancakes) in addition to heaping portions of their pork bulgogi, beef bulgogi, chicken, mackerel, various gimbaps, banchans, and fried chicken. Our guests LOVED all of it and given the amount of food they prepared for us, it was very very reasonably priced. We’ve frequented this spot for banchans and lunch often but will definitely be catering from here again!“

“My family decided to give the Honey Garlic chicken a try and it was a really good. It was still crispy with the sauce. I was actually a little skeptical since I had the Korean fried chicken at Von’s before and it was just soggy and nasty so I kind of expected the same but to my surprised, it was crispy and tasty! We also ordered the rose dtebokki with cheese that was really good as well. Loved the sauce and the spice wasn’t overwhelming. The only downside was the price. It’s pretty expensive but some chicken so it will definitely will be a once in a while type of treat!“

There are several large indoor tables that can accommodate large groups. The same is true outdoors in front of the restaurant.

The pace caters to students and dies a good job. The food is abundant and simple. Solid choice but don't expect a sophisticated food experience.“

“Jong Ga House is the real deal if you’re looking for an authentic Korean meal. The food was excellent, the staff was wonderful, and the entire experience felt genuine and welcoming.

We tried quite a few dishes, and there were some definite standouts. The bulgogi was amazing, tender and packed with flavor. We also really liked the spicy pork, which had a great balance of heat and flavor. The hot pot bibimbap was another hit, arriving sizzling hot with that wonderful crispy rice developing along the bottom.

The kalbi had excellent flavor, although the meat was a little chewier than I would have liked. I’m also a fan of Korean BBQ cooked over charcoal, so I would have preferred charcoal grills to the gas grills they use here. There’s just something about that smoky charcoal flavor that takes Korean BBQ to another level.

Those are relatively minor complaints, though. Overall, we had a great meal with plenty of dishes we’d happily order again. Great food, wonderful service, and an authentic experience. Definitely a place I’d return to.“

“Quick and affordable made to order onigiri with vegan/plant based options. I like the spicy tofu triangle, the teriyaki tofu and the kimchi tofu triangles are good as well. They usually throw in complimentary edamame if you get a few, and they have other options as well. More of a grab and go atmosphere but they are fast and friendly to me, and the condiment section is loaded with good stuff like free sesame seeds, teriyaki sauce, Japanese spice, Sriracha, shoyu etc. I like this for a nice light meal for some protein and energy after a work out or so.“

“Very customer friendly with speedy service. Staying on top when it is time to change the grill plate. Food is amazing. Service staying on top of checking with customer on the next round of all you can eat. Thumbs up!“

“The food was pretty good, though from what I've seen the prices are pretty high. GBO gave us an item included, but otherwise, even though the food tastes good and has great portions, it's very expensive.

Also, for any GBOers who see this, the spicy rice cakes (Tteokbokki) is not portioned for a full meal!

Otherwise the dine out area is quite nice!

Vegetarian options: There is the miso tofu ramen and maybe one other option, so vegetarians won't be left out!“
