“Came here quite often but first time writing the review. This place is neat and clean with good service and yummy food. I like the tofu soup the most. The combo for two people can easily feed four if you are not big eaters.“

“We eat here about once a month. There’s a large all you care to eat selection, service is fast and they have decent list of beers to go with all the meat. The only problem we’ve had is that their scissors aren’t sharpened- that’s ok, next time we’ll bring our own.“

“The woman in the front with the black hair at the cashier was very rude and had a nasty attitude. As soon as I walked in she was on her phone just looking at me and then went back on her phone while im waiting at the cashier to let her know I have a pick up order. She then looks at me like im crazy and says “name”? And on top of that started my order and put the fries in the fryer as im standing there when I ordered before I got there. She then went back to being on her phone in front of me at the cashier. You can tell she had a attitude the entire time, snatching my food off the counter to put it in the bag mind you, its only me and her in there during lunch time. Great food, but not the best service. Maybe i’ll try again later.“

“I would give them 3.5 stars for food. But boosted it as they have outdoor seating (which means you can bring your dog). I was super excited for their rose tteokbokki, but it was way too sweet. I've had much better. Their beef tofu stew is not a normal soon tofu and the taste caught us off guard. My husband liked it at first, but felt it got bland at the end. I got the pork rib soup, and it was basically a gamjatang. The soup was soup-erb, but unfortunately the meat was kinda dry and did not fall off the bone like I'm used to.“

“Great meal. The acorn noodle bowl was a big hit. Complex, well balanced pesto, pickled mushrooms, soft and chewy acorn noodles. Never had anything quite like it.
I'll definitely be swinging by their spot at Berkeley farmers market regularly.
As for price and portions, I think it's a steal for how much work clearly goes into it.“

“Visited San Francisco with my family and we ate one of the kbbq combos and we were stuffed! The meat was well marinated and delicious. The price is reasonable as well. The service was absolutely top tier and they were very friendly. They checked in often and cooked the meat for us.“

Bosssm is my go to here.
They also have lots of nice things for sale at the market. The fish cakes are quite good.“

“I finally got to try the dishes here and I am not disappointed.
I got the soup and it was just right amount of jalapeños for the spice. I lobe the simplistic it had, but it was still tasty ?
I also tried the island poke dish and it was very delicious as well.
I like how you have options for the rice or a salad base, or both.
Very flavorful and right amount of sauces.
I am looking forward to trying more dishes as time goes by.“

“This is THE place for bone soup. None of that weak af diluted stuff you can get from wholefoods. I’m talking about full bodied collagen rich soup paired with a spoonful of perfectly cooked rice beading individually with fragrance for every bite. Try any menu item with Gomtang for the bone soup. Do ask for the hot barley tea“

“Enjoyed the different meals thoroughly. Have had the Chicken Curry Rice Bowl, the Spicy Chicken Ramen Bowl, Bulgogi, and a few other dishes. Easy to become a repeat customer“
