“About the best thing in Martinez.. not counting the Glorious Gals of Hilda's Pleasure-O-Rama out on Hardback Ave is the soon to be world famous Lucia's Craft Sandwiches! I was in Martinez dropping off the Spindler's Rotomiser for my 48 Pearson Applehorn to the boys over at the Monkey Ass Garage because they claimed they could realign the wobbler shaft without tearing it up. “My experiences have always been good at this location for the 5 years I've lived in the area. The best part about this chain is the bread (particularly sourdough and dutch crunch) and garlic sauce. My favorite sandwich is the Italian, though I've tried most of the menu, and everything has been good. Delivery via DoorDash has always been a positive experience, fast and orders have been accurate.“

Zula’s is a purely family-run operation that moved to their current location from Market and Main. They rock! The “Avo-I-Am” is just an incredible sandwich. Give Zula’s a try and feel free to put them up against them to any other sandwich in town… there is no comparison. You won’t be disappointed! Enjoy!“

“Great deli / cafe attached to a catering business. Sandwiches are outstanding. Meat piled high and very fresh vegetables. Roll was soft and light, also.

The deli operation closes at 2:00 pm daily and is closed on weekends. But in-between that, you can get a great sandwich here .

They have housemade salads of all types, incl pasta etc. I didn't try them but will - they all looked great

And, it is one of the few places to sit down and eat around here that doesn't try to shake a tip out of you at the cash register before even trying the food.

“I LOVE this subway!!! I work near this location and it’s become a staple in my routine, primarily due to the excellent customer service.

Sharma always welcomes my friend and I into the store, with genuine kindness. By day three she already knew what I wanted to order! I have never had a bad wrap or sandwich when she makes them. Even when it’s busy, the quality of food/service does not drop. She’s the reason I keep coming back.

The location is kept clean, stocked and always smells like freshly cooked bread. (Yum!) If you’re in the area craving a sandwich stop by this location!

My Go-to wrap is the Italian trio protein pocket (which is such a bang for your buck at $4.99, 20+ grams of protein and give or take 490 calories)

“I’ve been going to Ike’s since they only had one location, and was thrilled when they opened up in WC. Sandwiches are still just as stellar all these years later. Prices have increased significantly over that time, obviously they’ve gone up everywhere, but noticeably more at Ike’s than anywhere else. Still great, just more of a treat than a go too now.“

“This particular Subway is very clean and efficient. I had two people in line in front of me with 2 employees behind the counter. From entrance to exit (with sandwich in hand ) was about 5 minutes. The price of Subway sandwiches have really gone up, but again, what hasn't? Just make sure you bring in a coupon and your footlong will be $7 and change (coupons do not include the specialty sandwiches). Great place for a quick (really quick in this case) bite to eat!“
