Highly recommended! Great quality sashimi.
Fresh fish some of which is from Japan. Several dishes we ordered came with real wasabi. It’s a local gem!
Far and away the best Japanese restaurant in Pleasant Hill. Nobuya may have the ambiance but the food falls very short by comparison. The okonomyaki is the best in the East Bay. Must try!

Located in the shopping center next to Saneh Bangkok and T'zunun, it occupies a smaller space with around 10 tables and a sushi bar, which sometimes means limited seating during busy times. The restaurant is run by the same team that previously worked at Okini, bringing a level of familiarity and dedication to their craft, but with a more modern approach and a focus on presentation. Food is beautifully plated, often presented in cute boxes or holders, adding a special touch to the dining experience.
