I've been here for their lunch special a half-dozen times over the past year, and it's been consistently excellent. Great price for the amount of food, and every entree I have ordered has been great, especially the spicy eggplant with tofu. The portions are very generous too - my wife and I always end up bringing home leftovers.

My family and I often order takeout for dinner here as well, and again, have never been disappointed. Everything is exceptionally fresh - the veggie and seafood options are my favorites.“

“I was on my way to Concord and went past the Three Brothers from China Restaurant and planned on going there as soon as I'm finished with Ol Oshcotious Trotterdale out at his Haggis plant, where I'm to get a full view of what goes into producing authentic Haggis. “The best Panda Express I've tasted. I don't know if I caught them on the right day or what. It was my first visit there. But I plan on going back. Everything was flavorful. I like the green beans n chicken. But generally the green beans are undercooked. These were decent, very decent. I recommend this particular Panda Express.“

“Omg my goodness I have loved Chinese food since i was a kid. I have spent the past 2 years looking for good fried rice. And this place hit the spot. Omg sooo good. I want to have my 40th birthday there what is the capacity! So i did host my 40th birthday here had about 50 of my friends join me. And the staff and the owner went above and beyond for me and my people! The owner got me balloons and a bottle of wine. They made a special tea just for me and they gave us so much food! It was the best experience ever!“

“Really solid dumpling spot in downtown Walnut Creek. Dumpling Hours has more of a casual, old-school local restaurant vibe, which I personally liked. It is not the kind of place that feels super fancy or overly polished, but that actually made it feel more authentic and comfortable to me.

The food was the best part. The xiao long bao were juicy and flavorful, and I really enjoyed the larger dumplings as well. They were filling without feeling too heavy, and they had that satisfying handmade dumpling texture. One dish that stood out more than I expected was the wood ear mushroom salad. It was fresh, light, and had a nice texture that balanced really well with the dumplings.

Service was pretty typical for a busy dim sum-style restaurant: straightforward, quick, and not overly chatty, but totally fine for the type of place it is. I actually don’t mind that when the food comes out hot and the meal moves smoothly.

“We always come here and have always been happy with the quality of the food. However, there is an older Chinese male server who always makes us feel rushed while we’re eating, and his attitude toward customers is not very friendly.

“Every time we go to Aberdeen Cafe, we always get a whole peking duck. The duck skin is crispy, and the meat is well seasoned. We also like to order a bunch of other dishes so that we would have some leftovers to take home. I saw this place when I had a few minutes to myself. I went in and ordered not expecting much but it was absolutely delicious! The soup was hot and sour soup which is one of my favorites. It was incredibly well done and then I had kung pao shrimp with stir fried rice. The rice was okay. Nothing special but my God the kung pao shrimp? The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the vegetables were crisp tender and the sauce was spicy enough to catch your attention without burning out your stomach or your throat“

Food was great, had the chaofan honey walnut shrimp and chaofan siomai. Also had a dessert of ube taho and mais con yelo. Very nice.

The floors were sticky when you walk into the restaurant. The water glassed were plastic instead of glass. The restaurant needs deep cleaning and freshen up the atmospher. You can see all the storage freezers when sitting in the dining room when they can be hidden with a decor curtain or a trifold divider. They don't bring the bill to the table or accept payment at the table only at the cashier which is weird for a sit down facility“

“Best authentic Cantonese dim sum in the CoCo county area! I grew up with dim sum in SF at least once a week with my grandpa and it reminds me of him every time we go. Creek House is family owned and the owners are still working every day, passing down the tradition to their daughter who runs most of the operations. Their baos are super soft and tops are perfectly toasted. Their dim sum and Cantonese dishes are cooked perfectly without being saturated in oil. The bbq pork baos are my absolute favorite and that's coming from the daughter of one of the most well known bakeries in SF (Red A Bakery, since sold when my parents retired). “I ordered the Mu Shu Pork on Christmas. It was the, dare I say, the best Mu Shu Pork I’ve had in several years. It was fresh, tasty and fulfilling. It was take out where the food sometimes loses its taste and freshness. This was not the case.
I gave 5 stars on atmosphere even though I realize it does not apply in this instance, but, when I’ve been in there, the atmosphere was good.
