“My mom and I were running some errands and we were thinking Chinese Food for dinner. Since new management took over our favorite Chinese Food place downtown, it has not been the same. My mom had been to Bamboo years ago and enjoyed it. This is our new favorite Chinese food place. The service is amazing, the food was fantastic and all in all we both really enjoyed the atmosphere. This will be our place to go. The food is so fresh. The temperature was perfect. My water glass was never empty. Great place.“

“The General Chicken 左宗雞 had several stand-out qualities. First, the sauce used to stir-fry the chicken was rich, flavorful, and balanced—both tangy and sweet with just the right amount of heat. The portion size was generous, with plenty of chicken to go around, which I appreciated. Another plus was the way the broccoli was incorporated. There weren't too many pieces, and they were the same size as the chicken, making it easy and pleasant to eat together.
That said, the chicken lost its crispiness due to the steam inside the takeout container. By the time I dug in, the once-crispy coating had become soft and was falling off the chicken, which was a bit of a letdown.
I also ordered the Shrimp Fried Rice 蝦炒飯 , and while the flavor was absolutely fantastic, I did encounter a minor issue with the shrimp. A couple of them still had their digestive tracts intact, which I had to remove before eating. Although it's a small detail, it detracted from the otherwise great experience.“

“Keep in mind a lot of the reviews here are for the OLD chinese restaurant that was here. There's been 3 at this spot since ive been a local here. Originally the first restaurant was ran by a nice old lady and the food was quite good.
I did not care for the 2nd group that came in to this spot, they were just not good.
I can safely say though that this new rebranded spot New peking is really quite good, they remodeled and cleaned everything and the food is served in good portions and is really solid. They may have a few kinks to work out, but the few times I've gone they've gotten better each time.
The hunan chicken lunch special got me to review, really happy to have a good chinese spot in the near area. They deserve your business“

“A good place if you want to grab your food quickly and get out quickly.
Vegetarian options: The selection is good. You have to watch out for sugar and salt in your meals. If you have restrictions you have to be careful
Parking: It's small but the people move pretty quickly from that parking area.
Dietary restrictions: Just be careful, if you have salt restrictions check it out thoroughly. But there are things that you can get. I enjoy eating there“

“After a series of disappointing restaurants on our visit to Concord we were so happy when we stopped in here to get some noodles and dumplings. Everything was amazing, flavors were perfect (could have been spicier but this happens often when my ginger self orders spicy food at a new restaurant...) and the noodles were perfectly cooked.“

“Compact and casual restaurant with a robust menu. Of course, the star of the show here is their Xiao Ling Bao (Shanghai dumplings), which is one of the tastiest I’ve tried in the Bay Area, especially for the price! The wraps are thin with a nice chew, the meat stuffings are generous, and the soup it holds is flavorful and positively overflowing.
Get in, enjoy the bao, and then enjoy the rest of your day. Simple as that ?“

“We got the cold Sichuan spicy noodle, fried beef & Ho Fun, and pork soup dumplings with Thai tea. The food was amazing, definitely recommend getting a cold and hot dish, and the dumplings are very creamy and packed full of soup. The Thai tea could be stronger, but overall still 5 stars!“

“The food is ridiculously good. Like, flavors on point, not overly salty, everything light and tasty. Honestly this is hands down some of the best food in the area. And it’s really not expensive at all for the generous portions. I can’t wait to come back, such a great addition to the area. Definitely give it a try if you want what to me seemed like some of the most authentic Szechuan in the east bay.“

“Stopped by while driving through the area and wasn't familiar with the style of Chinese food or the terminology of the menu, but the woman at the counter explained which menu item was chow mein. Placed my customized order for chicken chow mein (they were out of pork) and used their restroom. I was delighted with the restroom because so many businesses are closing them to the public these days. Came out of the restroom and they were still cooking my dish! They apparently make most of their dishes to order instead of premaking the dishes and keeping them warm. When I got out to my car, the chow mein was so hot I burned my mouth a little bit! I've never had Chinese that fresh in my life! The seasoning was very good and not at all like what I am used to. If you are looking for traditional, boring Chinese food, you don't want to come here. However, if you are interested in fresh Chinese food that's doing it's own thing, give this place a try! The only regret I have is that the portions aren't bigger, because I could have eaten a lot more it was so good!“

“Quick delicious General spicy Chicken. Wonderful texture & super hot fresh food. Simple small business in Palos Verde strip mall. I will be back! Food was ready in 10 minutes or so! Not greasy. Quality chicken and for $17.52 I got a huge portion of chicken and a small rice. Lunch specials are $12.95-13.95 Monday-Friday. Thanks Kung Fu Kitchen!
Parking: Lots of free parking. I even charged my EV at the charging station in front of Rite Aid.“

“The name is 3 star ⭐️ but it’s definitely a 5 star especially when it comes to the food , very fresh made with care. Service and staff are nice and attentive, and the restaurant is very clean. To start I have the hot tea ,then garlic chicken, I prefer it crispy crunchy, or fried hard, chicken and shrimp noodle, and my fav green spicy green bean.“

“Excellent. I'm surprised I did know about this place before. It's literally next to the Las Lomas High School
Across from Kaiser on Main Street. They have a private parking lot, street parking and an outdoor seating area that overlooks the creek.
The decor is wonderful. Service here was great too. Food, was great. I didn't know they did dim sum dishes. I took a few photos of what we got there. Great date night place too. I added this as one of the better dim sum places to go in my dim sum bookmarks.
I definitely planning on coming back, perhaps for dinner. Delicious dim sum.“

“stumbled across this place while doing my laundry across the street. Late Sunday evening and it was still open for business , SO I immediately scoped out the Reviews. I was Pleasantly Surprised that this place had sooo many good reviews but was empty! we took a chance &Ordered anyways . I requested half orders bat was told NO by the only employee present.Only two of US so I was disappointed that I couldn't but Sucked it up anyways ended up paying few cents Short of $50...for food for two! ouch ?However . the food was really good! ordered BBQ pork fried rice chicken Chow men orange chicken egg rolls &chicken wings. Rice slightly dry do to the BBQ pork but the Chow mein was perfect. So Next time I will order the chicken fried rice too the Orange Chicken was delicious too!my only complaint is not offering smaller portions because We had so much leftover that I could still feed a small army! But other than that very good and will definitely be back!“

“The food was great. I ordered the szechwan shrimp. It was so tasty and really filling. Portions were enough at good prices. Great atmosphere and nice hometown setting. The service was non-intrusive but they always knew when I would need something like a water refill. I will definitely come back when in the area.
Parking: One hour limit parking in back of restaurant.“

“Great new place for special dimsum fare! They even offer pork xialongbao! Highly recommended ?. Besides the dimsum, they even have different noodle dishes as well as fire fried rice. You guys gotta try their grilled squid. We've already been here twice, and the food is always fire ?. We'll be coming back again to try the rest of their menu.“

“Happened to pass by this while walking around; so glad I discovered it! I plan to go back soon! I went there for lunch; ordered the dry sautéed string beans with tofu as a lunch combo so it included salad and rice. The flavor was great and the portions are just right.“

“It got very busy for lunch on Sunday but we arrived just before the lunch rush. The menu I favored was not in english. The 짜장면 (black bean sauce noodle) may not have been exactly what I was imagining, but was still good. The 짬뽕 (spicy seafood noodle soup) hit the spot. The side dish, 소고기 탕수육 (sweat sour crispy beef) was the favorite.“

“It’s incredible, I’ll let the pictures show how delicious- and it’s take out this time! Dishes are Mongolian beef, and a beef chow mein. I order quite often for take out, and love the pot stickers and many other dishes on the menu. Large portions, packed with care. The inside is also lovely with big comfy booths and wonderful table service. Really a treat to enjoy whether you eat in or take out.
Parking: Plenty of parking, especially around the side“

“I liked the food, the staff and service were great, atmosphere was good. They give you cold water about as soon as you enter today (100F day in October) so that was a nice touch.
The Dan Dan & Yibin noodles both had good flavor, I'd only dock them for how thin the noodles were. I def like a thicker noodle. Portions are on the small size but prices reflect that and I enjoy getting to order more items and try more things without investing $20 on one plate. So that was nice as well.“

“I've been going to Combo Express for years now, and the food I get is always amazing! The BBQ chicken, chicken w/ spicy salt, and chicken chow mein are all delicious! The potstickers are pretty good as well, but I can't really speak for anything else on the menu. The service is nice, but the inside of the restaurant is a bit lackluster. I don't believe you can dine in anymore, but the food still tastes good with take-out. Overall, they have really good food, and the BBQ chicken is amazing!“
“First time. Great find! The food was delicious and well prepared. Didn't have that "all day in the steam tray" look and feel that now seems standard at other similar places. Vegies looked and tasted like they were made from fresh. The meats were tender and generous. Sauces light and not overly sweet or heavy. Will be our new go-to Chinese takeout!“

“First class Dim Sum spot, slightly off of the beaten path for those of us who live closer to the coast. Definitely worth the drive, creek house dim sum restaurant offers top-notch dim sum including Shumai, Ha Gao, fried and baked pork buns, along with some Cantonese favorites like chicken legs and flat noodles. I'd recommend this place all the seeking to explore the world of dim sum.
TIP: buy a bottle of their house made hot sauce. It is to die for
Vegetarian options: They serve vegetarians. And all vegetarians should be cooked until crispy and then eaten by meat lovers. Vegetarians are delicious.“

“Worth a stop if you're in the area for some delicious comfort food. The only difficulty eating here could be parking in a busy day, the shopping center is bustling because of the Mexican Grocery, Ranch 99, and all the delicious restaurants in this plaza.“

“This is by far the best Chinese food in the east bay. I travelled from Oakland to have lunch with a friend and their crispy orange chicken was calling our names. We dined in the bar area not the restaurant and got to enjoy conversation with locals and the owner chef. We always over-order because it is all so good and reheats well the next day since we had lots of leftovers.“
“Very tasty food and huge portions. And Ruby is very nice and patient with customers who can't make up their mind.“

“I usually get take out and order barbecue pork chow fun!

“I wish I could give it 5 stars like I would have in the past, at least the food anyways but the male cousin and his family always had decent customer service but the female cousin was rude, impatient & our order was incorrect by 2 items. It just wasn't the same sadly, I've been going there for over 20 years off & on even as I moved out of state it was always a must stop, I may not visit anymore unless I see the former familiar face. Food wasn't bad though.“

“Nice local spot for Chinese. We tried this today via delivery as our other go-to spot is closed Mondays. We had won ton soup, veg dumplings, walnut prawns and mu shu chicken. Overall it was pretty good and prices were reasonable. Although it would be nice if the walnut prawns came with more than just 8 actual walnuts lol but the prawns themselves were good which I suppose is the most important! Would probably skip the dumplings next time as they were a bit bland but everything else was pretty yummy, especially the mu shu. And they offer freebies for orders over $45 if you purchase using the link on their website which is always nice :)“

“Best Chinese Food in Vallejo and surrounding area!!!! Food is always made to order very quickly using only the freshest meat and vegetables and sauces prepared daily. The portions are generous, reasonably priced and flavors are on point no matter what you order. Some of my favorite entrees are honey walnut prawns, salt and pepper pork chops, sweet and sour pork, broccoli or Mongolian beef and ALL of the chicken dishes… lemon, Kung Pao, string bean, or sesame chicken! They are all the absolutely delicious!!!The fried rice and chow mein are always a staple when we order and the beef chow fun is amazing!!! They have a number of soups to choose from as well, my favorite being the war won ton! Delicious! My favorite appetizers are the crab puffs, dumplings and the chicken wings with their homemade sweet and sour sauce! It’s out of this world!!!If you haven’t eaten at the China Barn, you are missing out and must try it!!! You won’t be disappointed!!!

“Well honestly this review is long overdue! We come here all the time and hands down this is the best Chinese food in the Bay Area! Closed on Mondays and for some reason we have come at least 4 times craving the food! (We set reminders now! ;3) The food is always fresh, consistent and taste amazing! We enjoy the soups Hot and Sour and Wor Wonton for me! Along with many other appetizers like the deep fried prawns, Crab Ragoons the entrees are always the best especially the Braised Green beans with Garlic black bean sauce is amazing! You cannot go wrong here they have lunch specials during the week and its priced accordingly for the quality of food that you get! Ace, Jennifer and Betty are awesome and always know what we want, have fantastic personalities and are very welcoming every time we come! Any entree we've had is always phenomenal! 5 Stars easily!!!! <3
Parking: Parking lot usually able to find decent spaces.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level wheel chair friendly.“

“Having tried several other places in the hopes for more dim sum variety, Aberdeen keeps winning. Their lotus wraps and bao are really the best. Their mango jelly is just right. Food has been consistently good. Their sweet and sour pork the best--- the meat is never weird petrified bits, and the flavor spot on. The staff is always kind. They also have decent green tea on hand, iced (I will never forget the place in Vallejo that served me Lipton in a tea pot :( not what I had in mind). I am very fond of this place!“
