Mai Thai is our go-to for Thai food. We chose it over Naung Mai in Oak Harbor initially because of the price difference, but the portions are bigger and there's more of your chosen meat/protein in the soups and entrees. That said- be aware you have to LIKE SPICE. Recently it has been difficult to get "spice 1", which should just be a hint. If you say "no spice", it's OK, but not Thai, right? Food was just so-so. Mussamum curry was just too sweet regardless of spice level and was short on potatoes. Pad Thai was marginal. Etc, etc…
They are the best Thai in Oak Harbor. The only thing that could make it better is if they get their liquor license!
The dining area is always freezing though, and the acoustics are awful. It's really hard to have a conversation here without shouting over the people next to you.
