Mai Thai is our go-to for Thai food. We chose it over Naung Mai in Oak Harbor initially because of the price difference, but the portions are bigger and there's more of your chosen meat/protein in the soups and entrees. That said- be aware you have to LIKE SPICE. Recently it has been difficult to get "spice 1", which should just be a hint. If you say "no spice", it's OK, but not Thai, right? They are the best Thai in Oak Harbor. The only thing that could make it better is if they get their liquor license!
The dining area is always freezing though, and the acoustics are awful. It's really hard to have a conversation here without shouting over the people next to you.

I've been here a few times over the years and usually get the yellow curry. I get food envy when I see what others have ordered, and have tried a few other dishes like the Pad Thai and Basil Eggplant. I found everything delicious and the portion of meat was fair. Pricing on the lunch special is unbeatable particularly for someone like me who eats in the city often.
