“Our party of eight recently went to the Iftar buffet at Haroon Afghan Cuisine, and the experience was truly wonderful. The buffet offered a great variety of dishes—at least eight different options—each prepared with care and full of authentic Afghan flavor. One of the highlights was the delicious leek and potato bolani, which was crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Along with the main dishes, they also served beverages, tea, and dessert, which made the meal complete and very satisfying.

What impressed us the most was the freshness and quality of every dish. Everything was served fresh, warm, and beautifully prepared. Unlike many other buffet restaurants where food can sometimes sit out for a long time and lose its freshness, Haroon Afghan Cuisine clearly takes pride in maintaining high standards. The food tasted homemade, authentic, and full of rich traditional flavors that reminded us of real Afghan home cooking.

The service was also exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the evening. They made sure guests felt comfortable and well taken care of, which created a warm and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. You can truly feel their hospitality and dedication to providing the best experience possible for their guests.

The restaurant itself was clean, well organized, and very inviting. The environment made it a perfect place to enjoy Iftar with family and friends. “Excellent middle Eastern food. The Mediterranean salad is exceptional. The shwarma is delicious as are the desserts. Very casual dining. Order at the counter and food is brought to the table. While waiting for food they bring tea to the table. A very nice touch.“

“I loved the flavor of basmati rice here. The best I have tried so far in California! The chapli kebab was amazing too. I tried combination kabobs with lamb and chapli kebab. The owner of resturant is a very sweet woman, she forgets often what she asks a while ago but she runs the resturant almost alone and is always very sweet and patient. My second visit here in a week!“

“This place has AMAZING kabob/salad bowls! Very generous portions, free self serve hot tea, ice water, NICE and BIG outdoor patio with 3 or 4 tvs so if you want to watch a particular game, they can accomodate. The inside area has a vibe all its own. Plenty of single restrooms which is nice. We usually sit outside as it has a nice comfortable breezy patio with many tables. Everyone that works there are so kind and friendly and some are even funny😂 We drive all the way from San Jose just to eat here almost once a week. Prices are VERY REASONABLE which is great as everywhere else has either raised their prices or made their portion size snaller, but I get it. Times are tough for many. Also, walking in downtown Livermore after eating is super chill-its like what all other Nay Area tuwns USED to be like before they got overran with dense stack and pack housing and developments. Its like going back to the 70s almost. If I could own a small farm in rural Livermore, I'd totally relocate and then I'd be at Sultans probably 3+ X a week! GREAT JOB @OWNER! “These people are so nice and their food is amazing and so fresh!! They were open on Christmas day so my mother and I were able to have the perfect lunch!!“

“This place was pretty good, with fresh ingredients and a nice variety of vegetables, including plenty of vegetarian options. There was a good range of choices, which made it easy for everyone to find something they enjoyed.

The service was good overall, although it did take longer than expected for our food to arrive after we placed our order. It was also a little confusing figuring out which order belonged to whom. It would be helpful if the orders were clearly marked with names or table numbers to make things easier.

The ambiance was one of the highlights. The restaurant has a great modern-industrial design that gives the space a stylish but relaxed feel. They also offer outdoor seating, which is a nice option when you want to enjoy your meal outside.

“The grilled food is made to order so it might get slower to serve if there were a lot of orders to fill and indeed there are a lot of online order on Saturdays.
