Fantastic tasting room! The Ruby Hill folks are incredibly welcoming and excited about the wine. We had a great time talking to John about the wine, the area, and life in general. The facility is beautiful and spacious. Ruby Hill has a collection of very good robust reds that are likely to end up coming home with you after a tasting. Ruby Hill Winery is a highly recommended spot in the Tri Valley and Pleasanton area, known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is a hidden gem with beautiful scenery, where guests are treated like family. The winery is famous for its excellent red wines, wonderful white wine, and even rosé, best enjoyed with their snack pairings, including charcuterie available on site. The staff, including the owner Clay, are kind and open, making each visit enjoyable. Members get quarterly bottles, and those who enjoy tasting in big groups can call ahead to reserve the wine bus for visits to surrounding facilities and sister wineries. This winery is a must-try, with a perfect ambiance that makes family time precious, and it is guaranteed to not get old, even after multiple visits.
