If you are in downtown Pleasanton and you are craving gelato, go here! It's a cute shop with a decent amount of flavours and won't leave you disappointed. Staff is well organized and welcoming. I appreciate they let you sample before buying.... Always a plus! I might be an anomaly, but I like their ube and rose. One day I could also feel like getting their pistachio or toasted almond. Let's say I'm definitely returning back here once I'm looking for some gelato fun.
Making my way downtown, walking fast, faces pass and I'm gelato bound. This little quant shop is just a nice stroll away from any of the many food establishments nearby. There is no excuse to skip dessert! Almare serves up some creamy, flavorful gelato and sorbet. The flavors rotate so they're always fresh and you'll get an opportune to try something new. One of the very feel places that actually makes a good true gelato in the area. I always have a hard time picking with so many good options they have. Caramelized fig is one if unique flavor. I recommend to anyone who'd like to skip desert at the restaurant.
